On some spindles/machines you get conductivity through the machine frame. We always recommend using the magnet first and then experimenting to see if you can go without it
I use Rhinocam 2018 and it can output various posts. Are you planning for this software to be able to read Mach4 or Mach3 posts or is this just for vectric? Also, what is the price?
Our EX controllers are Centroid based, so any G code they can run will work. Centroid uses very industry standard G code. We have yet to run into a CAM software that doesn't have a post that will work.
@@snowblow1984 Yes, we are offering a trade in program. If you're going from stepper to stepper the swap will take an hour as you're just plugging in a new box. Contact support and they will get you setup.
@@snowblow1984 Yes, we make them backwards compatible. If you're staying with steppers the swap is just swapping your control box. It takes an hour or less to swap. We'll even give you a trade in credit on your old box.
Nice Video Eric!! Very clear and concise.
Very clear, Eric! 👏🏻👏🏻
Did is see it correctly? How did you use the material height probe without the attached magnet dongle thing?

@@AvidCNC Great. I always had intermittent issues with Mach4. Would I be able to replace Mach4 with CNC 12 for older control setup?
