This song reminds me of a girl, about 13, who writes stories and daydreams, and she had recursive traumatic events throughout her childhood which her mind is trying to work out (the "long forgotten tales"). "Only a man can dream, nothing is ever as it seems" she aspires to grow up and make a better life for herself, her stories about these better days.
I love this song♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Yuki Kajiura has so many awesome songs that speak and this one is one of my absolute favorites(from what I heard of her music so far).
She is, she's just not 'Mainstream' here in the US. But most Anime fans & gamers recognize her music from various Anime & video game soundtracks such as Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, .Hack//Sign & Liminality, Fate/Zero & Games like Xenosaga, Pandora Hearts & Persona. Trust me, she has plenty of fans here on youtube. There's at least 100 different songs done by her here on youtube.
@18742196 yuki kajiura is a composer~ meaning while she did make these wonderful songs she did not sing them herself~ and she is farly well known~ im not quite sure who sings this particular composition, but she does do a great job~ :3
@GastonDeChezSpirou "Real Art" is something that either look or listen, it makes you imagine about how it should look like. Imagine that you are lost into this song. You begin to close your eyes, listening to this music w/out press the pause button, and begin to have a silent girl in your head, staying there along with this song at your most favorite song for some time, for example. What is not real art is that 1 person could not imagine how this should look like.
Kajiura does occasionally perform vocals herself, though (I believe she can be heard in Play The Game, among others). But yeah, she wasn't singing this one.
its been 12yrs I listened for the first time... and I've finally found it again 😢
#1 Yuki Kajiura song in my book. What a beautifully dark masterpiece. Did this ever make it's way into any anime series?
Nearly 10 years later..still in love with this

Yuki Kajiura is the composer, the beautiful singer is Emily Bindinger. Both are very talented. I wish they were much more well known.
I just found this artist. She is an amazing singer, why is she not more well known?
my favorite! love the lyrics and music!!!
I just...found this...after SO MANY YEARS OF HEARING. ;A; I'm CRY.

Pretty sure the singer is Emily Bindiger. She did the vocals for most of Kajiura's .hack//SIGN soundtrack.

Yes, it really is her... Could recognize her voice anywhere *-*
she is pretty well known, they just don't realize it's her haha. ex: Kalafina, FictionJunction, etc.
@18742196 Yuki's not a singer herself, she's just a composer, but she's extremely well-known in Japan, where she composes for Animes
Beautiful!
great song
2022 and still hear this song

I was just silent girl
Always dreaming of little angle...
Love ♥
Loooove it!
This is the singer who sings on some of the music for .hack//sign. Sounds just like her.
The singers name is Emily Bindiger.
@marthwmaster nope, this song is exclusive for this album
@raigekimaru Well, on that idea, everyone's a singer, because everyone sings at some point.
@DruidRobur
actually, she is a singer, but she doesn't sing on any of her albums
To S.Rin:
Yuki Kajiura is the composer not the singer.

This song gave me an idea...
An acute angle?
1 person seemed to not know what "real art" actually is.
Sorry- -* I'm wrong
because people prefer brain dead rather than meaning...gangnam style = case in point.
