Shetasen this song is actually from a very obscure anime called “El Cazador de la Briuja.” This, along with Noir and Madlax were all sister series, all composed by yuki and WELL worth the watch.
I hope Yuki Kajiura is nore internationally known. Those Hollywood composers are simply bored the hell outta me, or maybe they don't car about soundtrack anymore since everything is about FX nowadays....

Hans Zimmer is okay, but not so much post LK. Mansell is best on BS, but remember, BS is also based on Tchaikovsky, otherwise, no. Bergersen? He's okay, well he might be an exception. Considering thriller/horror need to be supported with good music..... Say what you want, but I think hollywood has stopped give a damn about a. story b. music. Even Disney's post Alan Menken has lost its soul. There are good composers in Hollywood, like you mention above, but the soul, they've kinda gone, not soundtrack is just soundtrack, it doesn't give the movie a soul anymore... Howard Shore, he's the example of where a music is not jst a soundtrack but also a soul to a movie
Emily's a good singer, but I personally prefer Wakana/FictionJunction's take on the song (especially the one at the YK Live #11 2014 Elemental Tour). I believe that Wakana's voice fits the song better, and I just am not a super big fan of Emily's voice.
