Mines use to come on whenever I used the camera. I recently got an update a few days ago and now the microphone light stays on continuously. I selected “ ask every time” and that option only works for a few uses after that, it forces you to only be able to “do not allow” or “ allow to use” . I feel this now installed feature is intrusive and makes it even more suspicious for someone when using their cellphone. Certain Google apps literally saying that the microphone is necessary to use and you can’t deny that particular app access to the microphone. I would like control of my phone and not be FORCED to have it be controlled…by someone else.

I'm sure it's not an update cuz i never update my phone (its gonna be laggy lol), when i turn off my phone it's still there on my screen. I hope it will be removed na, 7 months plng phone ko 😭😭
just simply go in your privacy dashboard on your settings but it will still show notifs/ permission to access everytime you open your camera or use your mic
Okay despite what this guy is saying, the green. Is actually a safety measure. The Green Dot only appears when your phone is using the camera or recording audio. This is can be used as an alert if someone is tapping into your phone to listen or spy on you
I've tried to turn app settings off but it's still comes on and now my battery discharges quicker. All this is new to me, I'm not to up to date with new technology

Currently I am experiencing a green indicator that lights up by itself but is not accessing the camera / microphone and when scrolling down the notification there is no apk that is accessing the camera or microphone is it a bug or is there malware? Please answer thank you

@@suziemurray8001 Yes, but if you selected “ ask every time” to use it, it should be just that. After awhile it forces you to either select leaving the microphone on completely of off completely. But the option to ask permission to grant it access only when you want to use a certain app is forcibly not an option anymore. Asking me permission every time I want to allow something to use my app(s) should be just that and not force me to give that app full unrestricted permission after a couple of uses.
Yes I had a green dot and on Facebook Messenger and I tapped on don't allow on the microphone and also on the don't allow on the camera does that mean someone was trying to spy on me?
@@nsubugajoseph5933 They give you the choice to stop it but you will be force to leave it on for certain apps you may not use. Some Google apps will say the microphone NEEDS to be on at all time and turning it off is NOT a selective option. It is very suspicious and intrusive ,at least.

Once i play rec room i see a green dot next to my top right corner which means that microphone is enabled
