I just helped repair my neighbor kids piccolo snare. He stripped out his butt plate clamp. So I took off both heads and followed your process to a T. It sounds amazing! I've never even done this before but I'm also OCD! with a lot of hobbies! Thanks so much.

Got it from one of his friends her grew up with, Bernie!! He was my uncles drummer! The snare had a busted head so I replaced it! The damn spring on the bottom need one of the straps on one side but I gotta see how tight to set the head in there! My drummer "friends" are chumps and won't come chill to help a sucka set em up! I can set up a kit! Helped my drummer when we toured nightly!! I'm a guitarist and played bass in the touring band so I was "hmmmmmm.... UA-cam it!" Saw Portland music and was my 1st click! 🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🍻🍻😎✊
I've tried them All and Remo just makes the best all around heads. Sound, Tuning, and Durability. Can take abuse if you are a "Brick Layer" type drummer too.
