I love how you give a short summary of certain shorts, movies, and episodes now. It really shows that there's a genuine passion for this animation, here.
Foghorn Leghorn is another great character because of his obnoxious personality and the inspiration on the catchphrases of Foghorn Leghorn is pretty interesting and I'm glad that Foghorn Leghorn is beloved and recognizable and I think one of the voice actors did a pretty good job with their own take on Foghorn Leghorn the likes of Mel Blanc, Eric Barza, Frank gorshin and Jeff Bergman just to name a few.
When I was a kid I admittedly didn’t get Foghorn’s appeal, I just thought he was annoying. But now as an adult I really do appreciate the subtle slapstick of his shorts. Fun fact: Here in Brazil, Foghorn and Bugs have once shared the same voice... the voice from the great "Mário Monjardim", he voiced the rooster and the rabbit on their major appearances, his last work voicing the characters was in Space Jam, after that he passed the work to other people... unfortunately, he died last year 😔😔
I mostly liked how Foghorn Leghorn looked when they kept him looking like the way he classically looked throughout the decades. It gave him that classic look. I know Tiny Toon Adventures shown him as an educator already but I sort of can see him volunteering at a daycare or kindergarten and he's one of the adults looking after the kids for the day and see him come off as a father figure to the kids. Knowing when to be father mode and other times knows when to make them laugh.

I definitely like the Foghorn and Daffy dynamic. When these two actually are getting along they're fun friends. Of course I'll also always remember their epic tussle in the movie episode too, but I prefer them as allies. Daffy has the spirit and Foggy has the drive for adventure!
I loved him in the Wabbit/New Looney Tunes shorts because I think he works surprisingly well as a villain pitted against bugs and daffy. Especially that one where he was a snake oil salesman.
I love Foghorn Leghorn is officially saved and it’s finally 100% complete speaking of chickens like waffles and chicken and when foghorn leghorn saw the signs at the American restaurant in the real world on Earth in the end of the movie Space Jam II
Parody and dialogue humor always were the strengths, I say, the strengths of Looney Toons. They're typically quite witty and fast-paced. That means the jokes, son.
Dave! Great job on this one! Foghorn finally gets his due! You should do one of these about Warner’s “Rhapsody Rabbit” and MGM’s “Cat Concerto”. The story I’ve heard says that Technicolor Labs accidentally delivered a print of “Rhapsody Rabbit” to MGM! Hanna and Barbara immediately ripped off the Warner cartoon, putting Tom and Jerry in the character roles. Then adding injury to the insult of stealing Friz Freleng’s Bugs cartoon, the Tom & Jerry rip-off WON THE OSCAR!

@@felixleidig8307 I think it would be best for Dave to cover a few minor looney tunes characters back to back in one video. Because I doubt there's enough history for a character like Marc Anthony to fit an entire episode, or even a cartoon evolution shorts episode.
Funnily enough, Kenny Delmar also had a cartoon utilizing his Senator Claghorn voice in time. A recurring segment in King Leonardo and his Short Subjects called "The Hunter." Not nearly as funny or memorable than the rooster based parody character we all know and love. Another weird fact is that Foghorn made an unauthorized, parody appearance in an episode of the original Muppet Babies (Faster than a Speeding Weirdo). He appears briefly in Gonzo's imagine spot as a hospital patient, completely bandaged up, telling a harrowing tale of the chicken hawk that put him there.

Wonderful research and commentary as always. Thank you! Being an old-time radio fan, I knew about Senator Claighorn, but I didn't know that both Cliaghorn and Foghorn had an even *earlier* inspiration in that western actor Jack Clifford. Wow! Amazing. A small correction: The radio program on which the character of Senator Claighorn appeared was the Fred Allen Show -- not Steve Allen. Not related to each other. Foggy advancing as the cat is now in a water trough. Foggy's head is in the water, still walking/talking and bubbles popping UP as he's STILL blathering on. Another funny gag was when the snowball intended for barnyard turns GIANT, picks up speed rolling and becomes air born for the impending fall on him. Foggy looks down at his foot and says in that lovely Southern gentleman's accent. "MY corn hurts. It must be "gone" to snow" Then sPlaT! His one liners & Southern windbag expressions are what make him soooo funny.
