Be Safe Together: Improving Roadway Safety is a Shared Responsibility

As part of Be Safe Together - a new global roadway safety campaign - the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission is urging motorists to commit to driving in ways that are safe and responsible. “Distracted and aggressive driving behind the wheel are unsafe behaviors, and sadly more than 1 million lives are lost each year across the globe in road traffic crashes,” said Chris Matta, chief engineer and deputy executive director for the turnpike commission in Berea, Ohio.
