I consulted for a church that hosted Umar in 2014. The church had repurposed itself from an old Jewish school. They are in the more "urban" part of the city. Umar pulled up in a 2015 Dodge Charger and left after an argument with the pastoral staff of two about footage. He left and did not return. Since then, the church was able to start a daycare and then hosted students during covid with teachers from the community. The pastor later lent out space for a charter to come in and help students graduate H.S. He used church parishioners to start a thrift store and open up a home for dv victims. He used the 501c3 status to get the city to build a baseball diamond and fix a basketball court and fix an indoor gym. My business helped the church get a grant to build a "3d printing makerspace" and computer lab. The church still host things like AA and bible study and helps the less fortunate. When you aren't doing, what have you done?
