Many black peopel are often very qualified for those positions, in fact OVER qualified at times so we don't need DEI for a job, even thought we were made the face of it. I'm a 66yo white man who has witnessed the mind-bogglingly dramatic and positive cultural and societal shifts that have occurred around race over the last 50 years. The difference between my grandparents and parents view of race and that of my children and grand children could not be more stark. In the 80's and 90's I thought we were well positioned to really create the color-blind society most Americans hope for. Something happened in the early 2000's to derail that vision. In my opinion, the race hustlers in our country realized they were about to go out of business and pushed hard on the post modern racial game. Before I could blink an eye I was told that it was racist for one to claim to be colorblind and that race needed to be a prime consideration in EVERY ASPECT of our lives. And now I see the pendulum shifting back to where it was 50 years ago. People like me are fed up and are saying "Count me out. You wanna turn this into a game of guilt, payback and survival. Bet. But I'm gonna dig in and protect myself and mine". I raised my kids to treat everyone the same and to live broad lives with rich relationships with all people. Now I'm telling them to watch their backs and resist the woke nonsense being tossed in their direction. This is tragic. It's not what I want for my children, grandchildren or country.

Let's not forget he's married with children whom he walked away from. But she thanked him for being a "Father" to her Daughter who has a Father. She needs mental health services

D.E.I. was the worst policy ever designed, It caused division and exclusion. People were hired for important roles without the relevant experience, leaving the experienced person without a job. everyone was supposed to be included except Christians who were excluded. getting rid of this policy was the best thing for the country in all areas.
