Much respect to zoomed for the work they do. Definitely will keep in mind when I shop for products in the future.
Why does this guy not have a million+ subscribers he deserves way more and he will get there, i love this channel, best channel i've seen in a while
I've never thought of zoo med as being as big/ incredible as they are. This episode truly did make me think so differently, as did last weeks show. Very well made and an amazing facility
I have to agree. Before recently I saw Zoo Med as similar to a corrupt company that ignores animal care for a lower cost. Knowing this makes me feel great about using their products and supporting them as a whole.
Cool
That was a BEAUTIFUL episode... looks like paradise to me :) Huge respect to ZooMed!!
Keep up the good work!!
2021 63 you old lady , you never too old to learn, thank you both for taking the time out of your life to share with this
Kenan thank you for another amazing video. my favorite is the box turtles. they are a gorgeous animal. I saved 11 of them off or roads last year and turned them loose at my house. we have over 1000 acres of woods behind our house so I felt that's a more safe place for them. please keep up the amazing videos. thank you to Zoo Med also for allowing you to make a video at the facility.
Those habitats are GOALS. I'm getting all kinds of good ideas.
Eastern Boxies were always abundant in Suffolk County, LI. They were frequently found crossing dirt roads after the rain & walking around the backyard of my family’s summer house back in the 60’s/70’s. They especially liked our veggie garden and would sometimes move in for the entires summer eating snails, horn-worms, slugs and overripe veggies that’d fall on the ground. Their color variation is amazing especially males with brilliant yellows, oranges & reds; they are the most colorful turtles in North America. Habitat destruction has adversely affected their numbers.
kenan your videos are awesome. i am 12 years old and i love all reptiles. when i grow up i wont to have lots of reptiles in my backyard and give them a good life
you inspired me to keep reptiles and many other different animals thank you!
Kamp Kenan I am getting a pet turtle do u any suggestions about the type of turtle that is chill and hand able plz replay.

Shazzy Reptiles didn't think I'd find u here... 👋 hi
Just do it!
Congratulations on your baby!
Kenan , Your videos are always great .. Thanks for sharing with us all that you love .
the fly rivers were always my favorite. id watch them swim for hours at my local zoo when they had them. it was good to see one again.
These videos do absolutely nothing for me but make me jealous. Hehe
I know this video is older but Kevin tickles me at how excited he gets. My husband tells me I get to goofy about fish so I can relate. 😂
Simply amazing. Unbelievably professional!
Those fly river turtles! they are beautiful!
BEAUTIFUL facility!--I'd LOVE to tour it!
ZooMed pellets are Morla's favorite now and it's nice to know their products are made w/ genuine passion for torties!
So amazing! I love zoo med products. I'm so much happier now that I've seen them in action. Thank you for doing this tour!
I've always loved zoo-med, I feed my red eared sliders their hatchling formula and they love it
I can't go an hour without thinking about tortoises I've encountered and saw how their habitat was robbed and they had nowhere to go. I tried to save a few but my parents didn't care and I was 8 and I couldn't find any help. It breaks my heart. So it's really great to see people and the tortoises who's struggle for survival is not in vain. These folks are tortoise and turtle smart as they try to protect and breed American tortoises. You see so many tortoises from ...Russian tortoise, Egyptian, Greek, Africa, Sudan, ...EVERY PLACE BUT HERE. The tortoises from this country need the most help. That tortoise when I was 8, I've never seen anything like it again in my life, There are many meritorious Biologists but we always need vastly more since all creatures except Humans need help. That turtles I found when I was 8 whose habitat had been developed into Human housing... there's no record of a tortoise with features like it had esp in that part of the country so I can only conclude that it went extinct before anyone knew it was there. There were flattened specimens all over, centered around a field gone wild a few years earlier, a wheat field before that. It amazes me how hard a creature will fight to survive amidst an educated population of people, none who gave 2 hoots. This doesn't hurt even as bad as another. So I'd like to hatch tortoises and raise them but I've lost my back. I left it on my bed one night and in the morning it was gone. The real story there is too boring to tell. Anyway it brings me comfort to know there are people dedicated to saving what Earth has been making for so much longer than people. If only there was someone I could call when I was 8 but 50 years later, some people are trying to save what's still around, apparently if they're big or are lucky. Thank you all for helping the tortoises of America too, I'm not sure I've seen much of that but I'm sure it's going on too. Thank you all for helping these wounds I've carried so long from those who wouldn't care. I often wish I had the chance when I was younger. Again, I'm so glad there are people like you all now. Thank you.
truly incredible set ups

Great spot, lots of amazing reptiles 🦎
Thanks for the tour.. Kenan:')
That was a reptile heaven
really gave me some good ideas about enclosures thanks for the awesome video !!
Wholesome episode right here!
One thing about Iguana's I always found fascinating and funny. They either don't see you, or don't see you as a threat, if you do not make eye contact. I made a little experiment with an iguana I was baby sitting. He was really hand shy, but he loved meal worms chicken even more. So, I'd extend my arm, and hold the food with the other hand at about my elbow. This fearful iguana, would see the food, walk quickly up my arm and eat it! Once the food was gone, he suddenly looked right at my eyes, and took off so fast, he scratched me up! I did this test 20 or 30 times, and every time, he'd crawl up, eat and once finished, seemed to suddenly down on him, that MY GOD, I'M STANDING ON IT!! and run off.
I live in south Florida as well, if you want to catch a wild Florida iguana, make your way to the animal slowly, and don't make eye contact.
Nassau county here! Brother! At least you seen one here on long island!!! I haven't seen one in my 45 yrs live on the island! Seen um in WV.
That's one awesome greenhouse!!!!!😄
This was an AWESOME video Kenan, thanks for making it!! Can't wait for the next one!
Love some of those setups!!!!
Love all of your episodes. This Is my favorite so far! I love getting to see the animals enclosure and how they set them up. Great ideas for my own animals. I hope you will do more videos like this one.

OMG ITS ASHLEY FROM ZOO MED!!!!!!!
????
I totally relate to the "always see box turtles" because I live in Suffolk country, Long Island ahaha!
Cool, I came for Sulctatas and was not disappointed👍😄
Wow, I didn't realize that Zoo Med had a facility like this. I'm impressed !!! Y'all should name the yellow iguana " Daisy ". ☺️
Haha! Thats funny you grew up in Suffolk! I grew up in Holbrook before I moved to Colorado.
This really made me miss my Cherry headed Red Foot Tortoise that died about 4 months ago. I had him 14 years...
Kenon I love your films.
Greetings from the Black Forest Germany Jane
my backyard also have box turtle .. feeling lucky to look their wild habitat .. i'm from Malaysia ..
I have 5 eastern box turtles as pets in my backyard. My fence is buried 2 feet underground and they can't escape. They are treated and fed like kings. I have 3 males and 2 females. They like dog and cat food, dubia cockroaches, nightcrawlers and the crickets, grasshoppers and cicadas I find. They also get fruits and vegetables. I hibernate them in my enclosed back porch to protect from predators and they have babies every year.
Eastern box turtles are my favorite!!
love your videos!!!keep it up!!!
That was fantastic.
I wish I could make such cool looking enclosures
Long Island here too! Great video!
I love that turtles look like like other animals like the Fly Rivers look like Penguins and the Mata Mata looks like you, lol, and darn but the one with the big smile today that you joked about being a chew toy to me looked like a Sloth. There were more but it goes so fast for me.
the pig-nose turtle is definitely my favorite turtle of all.. maybe the snake neck too :) hope you guys can reproduce more of them so that there will be a large enough genetic diversity that can sustain the captive population :)
Can't wait to see my sulcata get that size
Gus knocked her up.
"As a boy growing up, I would see the Eastern box turtle," lucky you, they were pretty much moslty wiped out by the time I was born in the late 80's.
Come to Alabama they're all over the place
theyre coming back
In MO , 20 years ago, it was routine in the spring to stop and help them across the road. Most people didn't and the carnage was bad. I rarely see them now.
funny, those iguanas ate everything but the zoo med crap pellets XD. @3:12
merci pour la video
Does zoomed sell these large tubs? I don't think I've ever seen anything that size that can support such a cool mini ecosystem so well.
Zoo Med makes great enclosures for their turtles/tortoises/iguanas!! just a suggestion: you should make more vids of the different species of turtles in your Kamp Kenan pond, another great episode nontheless Kenan!!
More on the Fly river? Nice!
I live the turtles and you have a super cool job and I want to be a reptile farmer when I get out of college

Have a question kenan... can I legally breed my eastern box and release in it's natural habitate
Where can I buy one of those 720 gallon tanks that they had housing the fly river turtle? any info would be helpful. Hard to find a tank with the see through plexi glass viewing window.
People think reptile are ugly but I love reptile
I hope I get a job like this when I'm older
+Kamp Kenan thanks kenan
Kamp kenan is so cool
Whoa, this channel is reeeally old. I had no idea. Great channel though. I love it.
Too short! haha I love it I want more!
Hey Mr. Kenan! I'm looking into getting a sulcata. What's the cactus you feed your tortoises?
Thanks!!!!
I do beleive he said Spineless Prickly Pear Cactus, he sends enough of the cactus to feed off and plant for yourself with every purchase. Hope that helps!
really nice video nice ideas thanks
I was impress
I love this channel :)
Wow I love in Suffolk county Long Island, ny right now
*live
The sight of zoomed having the painted terrapin just brings hope to their already decreasing population . I just love them but urbanization in their range and collection of their meat are the drastically reducing them . In Malaysia we dont eat them but poachers usually sell them to China , Indonesia and the neighbouring countries but conservation and gazetting of wetlands had increased their numbers . Thanks zoomed and kammp kenan
her new Mercury bulbs need to come out
The sulcata might be in zoo meds video eating
What are those large industrial blue tubs called? With the glass front.
The banana spiny tail looks like a Beatrice to me
Does Zoo Med sell turtle internationally ?
Hi this was a very great video I have never seen some of those turtles thanks to you and zoo med
When it rains, don't the lights get drenched for the banana iguanas. i was just wondering what they do with them during the rainy days.
Awesome I live in California, do a video on an American bullfrog? They can get really pretty also and they get huge
All I can say is wow Thanks
Cool video😃
