  • Highlights from the opening day at Broadway Station, 30th March 2018. Starting with Lord Faulkner of Worcester opening the station, then a very steamy Foremarke Hall taking the first down train out. Next is Dinmore Manor arriving with the first public up train from Cheltenham. Last we show the first visit of the 1905 built GWR 2-8-0 2807 one of the few remaining engines from the decade that the original Broadway Station was built.
The GWSR is operated and maintained by a bad of enthusiastic volunteers who provide the multitude of skills required to keep a railway operating

Congratulations to the GWSR from New Zealand - re-visiting your wonderful railway is at the top of my 'bucket list"!

It was great to be on it the first service train out of Broadway. Great honour and not expected back in 1984 when I first arrived in the Vale
