THAT'S an awesome story! I wasn't a big Demolition fan when they were popular, but I've come to respect them so much later on because they seem like such good guys and they were a great tag team. how they aren't in the Hall of Fame I'll never know.

This guy wrested as the Masked Superstar as well. He was chiseled and athletic enough to do high flying moves along with being able to walk the ropes.

I remember watching Masked Superstar on WWF TV over 30 years ago. What an amazing story!
Great story. I didn't realise how grounded these two were until I saw these interview clips.
Can you imagine that ? We almost lost him.this had to scare the crap out of everyone,his fans,his family,his friends...smash.even Ax himself the though of all of this going through his mind had to be very wild .it had to freak everyone out.

What an , wow!! Im at a loss for words. I had a friend many years ago tell me his out of body experience and it was similar to Ax's. I remember very vividly as a kid watching Crush come in. Of course, unbeknownst to me what led to all that. The rumors then was that Ax had aids. What a crock of BS. Good to see him alive and healthy.
We must have hung in different circles. The rumor I heard was that Ax had a heart attack.

I was a huge demolition mark , because I grew up on WWF Wrestling as a kid, didn’t really know all about territories and wccw back then , as in 88 I was only 7. So when Road Warriors came , I thought they were the demolition rip offs , cuz I didn’t know my wrestling history then. But because as kid that’s what I knew first , they were the 90’s tag team , in Toronto were I’m closely located , wrestlemania 6 when they defeated Andre and haku (colossal connection) if my memory serves me right , when they hit the elbow finisher of the second rope, the roof (pop) blew off that place

I really like the Masked Superstar.
That was an inspiring story, Ax. But could I correct you on a couple of things about the book you read? "Life After Life" was written by Raymond Moody (same surname as Paul Bearer), not Elisabeth Eadie. However, you might have also read "Embraced By The Light", which was written by a woman named Betty Eadie. Then there was an NDE studies pioneer named Elisabeth Kübler-Ross who was also into the subject, and maybe you were thinking of her too.
Must be Embraced by the Light since he said author had same last name. Love both these guys. Especially Bill.
