Terry Funk's first retirement was in 1983. He must have wrestled countless guys who were not born when he retired. And a few of THEM are probably retired.
@@o.w.omarquito2047 Yes the burying argument...You know, not two young guys being trusted to compete against Sting at 61 years old...Sure, he won, but could he have lost his first match? No, because Sting is a huge name that cannot look like crap and the other two will be just fine.

I wonder, how Big Show/Paul Wight will do in AEW. He turned 49 in Febuary and his transformation of his body "to a giant with abs" over the last years got quite some attention. So if there is a follow-up next year, he might make the list....
Andy Murray got super bald and super happy all of a sudden, retiring from tennis to narrate over Wrestling top ten lists has really done him the world of good.
You say Terry Funk has retired, while this sounds and looks real, this is after all TERRY SODDIN' FUNK reitrement is a WORK (in the words of Adam Wilbourn)
Terry Funk should wrestle one last match in this new decade. Trying to think of guys no one really likes that he can go against. Off the top of my head maybe he can beat up Nakazawa in AEW, Robert Stone in NXT, or someone like that? Just adding that last decade would be cool.
Y'all were worryin' me... not naming Funk until his rightful place of #1. I mean, I was hearing named, including Flair, and I'm like: "Where the Hell is The Funker? These youngass kids better not be forgettin' The Funker." Luckily, he was where he deserved to be. #1. Because he is.
PCO got freakin powerbombed out of the ring and onto the floor by the Guerillas of Destiny then suddenly sat up like Kane while hulking up. All happened in ROH.
I like me some old school Jericho but he shouldn't be included here. Billy Gunn is 57 and even wrestling jobber talent mainly he looks incredible and still can go.

Billy Gunn looks bad these days but he is wrestling against jobbers so he looks like a big star

Poor Undertaker found out he was to old the hard way.
It was kinda sad to watch.
Goldberg kicked arses in his 50's too... in one minute matches.
Why are you always so salty
That was kind of always his thing. If the formula works why change it?
