Recording the knots as you speak of them is very helpful. Thank you
I got to meet you this past weekend at smkw. You and your entire team are AWESOME. I couldn't speak I was star struck lol felt like a moron. But it was awesome to see you again. Good luck and stay safe
Thank you for adding the spots showing exactly how you tied each of the knots. It really helped me understand better. Thanks Dave!!!
Great setup and great addition with the poles. Awesome quick how-to tutorial. Thanks, Dave!
Dave will go down in history as a brilliant innovator right alongside Kephart. 👍
Very interesting. Cool trick. What's the quality of the material on the tent? Any possibility of the poles wearing out the material and poking through?
These poles look awesome but gutted it’s tricky to get them in the UK without getting stung by import taxes 😩
I remember several years back when you had a video about that knot, always loved that knot.
The poncho poles are a game changer. Right on Big Dawg Dave. Bad AF.
Absolutely genius!! Thanks Dave big time!
Dave, I really like that setup! Innovative, practical and easy to do.
Genius. I've been eyeballing the Bungalow for a while and this just sealed the deal. Great tip, Dave!
What a great little knot! Easy to get undone as well.
Thanks Dave. Outstanding video. Loved the close up of how you tied those knots.
I have to admit this is a pretty badass setup.
I also have this tent going on five yrs now love it!
I want to try this but still love my $35 (18 years ago) camo pup tent that I put up with trekking poles. Thanks Dave.
Wow, how very cool. Dave, you never quit thinking.
Great tips, I have a Backwoods Bungalow and I just bought the poles, I can’t wait to try them out with the tent
Hi David! Thanks for adding in the knot tying outtakes. That was very helpful.
Really nice mod , makes the shelter much nicer.
This is a great add on to a great tent. I love mine.
Thanks for the great tip. The backwoods Bungalow 2.0 is my go to so naturally, I had to order a set of Poncho Poles! 😝
Dave is the king
I am impressed!
I just ordered the P.F Poncho Poles today, I've been waiting for them to be in stock again, and now I'll have to get a new shelter too.....LOL
That is a killer little setup...I like!
Definitely a great idea 💡 THANKS 🇨🇱
This is so cool! I can’t wait to pick this gear up and try it! So cool!
Hey it was great seeing you at the knife shop in Sevierville last weekend!
BRILLIANT!!!
Dave, this is very good info
I have that Backwoods Bungalow. It's a modern iteration of the Whelen almost.
I have the poncho poles in my cart at SRO. Nice to know how versatile it is.
Son of a ....... it never dawned on me to use hammock straps. Whoopie slings or cinch straps would be the trick for tension here for those that are challenged with tying knots.
Poncho poles are a great hack as well.
I'm definitely going to try it this weekend.
Thanks Dave!
i got one of these tents and its great, its my " bushcraft pack tent", thanks for the tips!
That is a good setup.
That's awesome light weight shelter
Great video
You remind me of my grandad he was awesome to. I love your channel and it's a pipe dream of mine to join your survival courses. I've copied many of your techniques as I find them easy to understand, all the best sir... BatW 🙌✌️
I have this tent too and I really like it
Fantastic.
That's awesome, Dave. Thanks for the info and video. 👍🏻
That's freaking awesome!
Great Laavu kinda and I like those knots
look great dave .. great video
Very Nice Dave
great idea
well damm thats awesome dave and great info on the knots
EXCELLENT
🤔 I have this tent. Guess I need the poles now lol
Well now I know my next purchase
This darn thing called work got in the way at of me getting a set of poncho poles again!! I’m really just going to have to quit this working thing so I can be available to know when the next lot of poles are available 😂
Very cool
Sweet
I learned a new knot. And another reason to get the bungalow
More archery videos please
I’m 67 and still going into the woods
I hear One Tigris can be hit or miss, some quality, some crap so when I see Dave C. promoting one I get all confused. But DAMN using those poles with it is incredible considering it certainly wasn't designed with them in mind! Been eyeballing those poles...might have to cough up $45...thanks, love your work!
I have the original and love it. There are a few better upgrades the 2.0 has over the 1.0. But I still like the side vents of the 1.0 over the rear vent in the 2.0
I've never thought of using tree straps, I'll have to try it. I use a bowline & taunting hitch setup usually or trekking poles.
Great idea with bell shaped patio
Would love to see how to set this up with tarp poles when no trees are around.
Will it zip up with the poles in place
Yes absolutely
Nifty.
Great tips
Do those poles work a with a Usgi poncho?
Are the poncho poles aluminum or fiberglass ?they look like fiberglass.
💪🏽🇺🇸
One tigress is hit or miss, some of their products leak in inclement weather over a normal shower…
Can you stop the advertising and get back to the fundamentals and tricks around them?
