- Knee High Inda Lehigh~ Crime? things to do? Safety? Housing? Shopping? What is it REALLY like to live knee high in the Lehigh (Acres) ? Overall, great selection of Caribbean mom n pop places but a serious lack of chain restaurants and common household retailers. just about everything takes a trip to Fort Myers or working for sure requires going a draining trip towards Naples. This is the REAL DEAL tho, no realtor crap.
People in the comments expecting Lehigh Acres to be a vibrant city lol Lehigh Acres is an affordable place to buy a house with grocery stores nearby. If you want entertainment, bars, movies, the beach and jobs, then you have to drive 15 to 60 minutes.....Very normal in the US. Crime is not a problem, my parents have been living there for 15 years without any issue.
Normal in the US but NOT NORMAL
i grew up in Lehigh and to be honest i really miss it
PAL, I BUILT MY HOUSE HERE 34 YEARS AGO. We didn't lock our doors and we left our keys in the car when we went to PUBLIX. As I was on the edge of town, used to shoot in my back yard. Stand on my roof and look south and there wasn't a roof as far as you could see. NOW? I live in the center of town. But I didn't move, the town grew up around me.
Between '90 and '05, the average household income went DOWN over 25%. Any idea why? The absolute gutter trash that moved into this town during that time destroyed this place. Every extra lane they put on a road coming into town was another bar we had to put on our windows.
As for businesses, we used to have a bunch. No one supported them. INCLUDING THE PEOPLE THAT OWNED THE OTHER BUSINESSES.
As for 'incorporation', DON'T NEED IT. It WILL raise taxes. And either we will pay for another layer of ineffective law enforcement, or pay again for the sheriff to do what he already does.
I could go on, but I've had a long day. I'm going to take a very long shower and watch an hour of TV. Good nite.
Are you actually asking why the average income went down? During that time period that you mentioned, the banks were caught giving home loans to people who knew they couldn't afford them. Housing market crashed when those same people weren't able to pay their mortgages. They had to go somewhere so they either packed together into smaller homes or became desperate enough to turn to stealing which in turn has caused crime to soar over the past decade. This is over-simplifying it for sure, but that's the gist of it. The crime rate rose rapidly as people did everything they could to just keep their lives together. I am no way justifying this behavior, but I know that's how they most likely do in their own heads. I've lived here my entire life and remember when it was almost all woods and dirt roads. This was back when there wasn't a Walmart and there weren't gas stations and Dollar Stores on every corner. A trip to Fort Myers was absolutely needed for almost everything essential. I remember we did have that K-Mart where that school on homestead now is though. Lol.
Who else remembers the infomercial where Erik Estrada was selling home lots in Lehigh Acres on the cheap?
😭😂😂😂
16th largest census designated place in Florida. Lehigh Acres 123,378 Population. 42% growth in 10 years.
Why don't you show some good things around Lehigh not just the back roads? Veteran's Park. Williams Park. The pool. Little League. Shopping Bealls Outlet. Goodwill. Kiwanis. Senior Citizen Center. VFW. Eagles. American Legion. Pelicans Snowballs. There is far more to Lehigh than what you show. Land is being cleared for Chipotle/Starbucks. Hungry Howie's is being built. Maybe you should go somewhere else if you are so unhappy and discouraged here.
Lady said goodwill 😭😂😂😂😂🤦
Ain't nothing wrong with goodwill you can find hidden gems there
I live in lehigh acres. There is a noise ordnance. You have to turn down the music after 10pm and not turn it up till after 7am. I live in rural lehigh acres. I have 2 neighbors who like to play loud music. One country the other Spanish. Interesting mix on the weekends. At 10 to 11 pm it gets quiet. Nice the neighbors respect each other.
The reason a small town three hours from a city has more than Lehigh has is that it is three hours from a city. I lived in a town of 13,000 people in Alabama that had several of the big box stores. Seems strange until you realize those stores also serve the surrounding smaller towns and are also the only stores around. Lehigh is 15-20 minutes from every store you could possibly need and thus building these stores in Lehigh isn’t necessary.
This is a very practical and realistic video …. The struggle is real for day to day living and I now see why you shared this aspect of the city. It’s the down to earth reality of making real decisions about where to live based on the real grind of living , working and playing if one chooses to live there . Thank you
As long as they have a Walmart, Marshall’s, and a HomeDepot, I’m good! Not everyone wants fancy stores and restaurants! Some people like myself are tire of that crap! I don’t even like eating out because it’s not healthy! I can’t remember the last time I was at a restaurant. Of course when I’m traveling abroad I eat out. That’s like a treat to me. But eating out all the time, that ain’t for me. In conclusion, not all Americans are obsessed with eating out. I prefer to cook my own healthy vegetarian 🌱 meals with my own hands. That way I know what’s going into my food, and what I’m putting into my body. And, I also save a lot of coins! People who’ve had it all don’t want it anymore! They want a simpler life!! I’ve been around very wealthy people, and they live very frugal lives!
I just want a gamestop...
You nailed it! This seems like the perfect place for me because I love to stay at home, cook and stream movies. Not everyone wants the fast pace of life. There's nothing wrong with taking it slow and easy.
@@latonyalee7821, some of us have grown up…lol

Lehigh isn’t for everyone. It’ll always be home no matter where I step off to though. Plenty of snook in Able canal. Simple life, no HOA’s. Close enough to anything you need.
We aren't incorporated. You want to live in a big city go. But we know how to survive without much help from the county. This is rural life. It's not meant for a lot of people.
Finally, an objective review from someone who actually lives there. Thank you for this.
we done PLENTY videos on lehigh. the worst part really is the commute
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Not for me, commuting times are the least of my concerns. The other stuff you point out has the objectivity that other people with a vested interest in selling you on the area leave out... that's what i meant.
he doesnt live here
@@Naferner_Said He did at the time, idiot.
I agree, they do need to add some chain restaurants and stores in Lehigh. It does suck having to drive into Fort Myers and further down for shopping and entertainment. My dad was trying to convince me to move there but I wasn't feeling the vibe. Did research on high schools and they weren't good for my daughter. I felt like there wasn't wasn't much to do for teenagers except hang out at veteran's Park. Great video on your perspective, I appreciate your insight.
Hi, where do you stay now, did you ever move? I am currently in Miami, looking to move, i went to Sebring, it was nice, your thoughts?
How much is vacant lots going for in your area of leigh acres ???
how about you drive to fort myers, instead of making lehigh ugly like naples.
I own property in Lehigh Acres... but have never seen it. I inherited it from my folks. Thanks for the tour.
We moved to Lehgh Acres in 1986, had a home built. I love my home, love my neighborhood and love Lehigh. I DO wish more MD specialists had offices here, tho, some of them are even far in Ft.Myers. But there are some good ones close by, eg ,at the Sanctuary. Rib City is here, it's good. There are restaurants here, but we don't go much anyway, not anymore.
Why dont you go to restaurants any more?
@@am-xk3xs Cost and what they have is not worth it. We know how to cook and a lot of what we cook can't even be found in restaurants.
There are a LOT of people moving to Lehigh, Cubans and other ethnic groups, literally, ethnic from ALL over the place. WE are ethnics, husband Sicilian, I am Tatar (Central Asian) AND they make businesses. Maybe someday we'll try restaurants they made, there are quite a few here. American Legion makes good food and it's not that expensive, same for the Moose Club. The one in Ft. Myers Beach, which is far and tricky to get to, has a 16oz steak, highest quality, melts in your mouth soft no grizzle, delicious. $12 bucks. They also make a full rack of ribs, delicious, $10 bucks. But it is FAR for us. I never tried the Moose Club in Lehigh. Am Legion is the only place we go now that has a smoking section (I vape) and well, I like that. Still, it is spending money and we'd rather not do that these days. True tho, we could go to Am Legion or Moosse and not spend anything. We used to go dancing (ballroom dancers, including Latin) but now my husband works PT job and works on Fridays. The ONLY Moose that has dancing other days is the one in Ft. Myers Beach, as I said, it's far and tricky to get to AND, no vaping section. They all used to have smoking section. Real bummer.
I have been to Naples. Also Cape Coral. I don't like those places. For me, Lehigh is GOOD, a great place to live. These days tho, price of houses is sky high and rent is through the roof. So, heh, you get people coming here that have money.
Since I wrote the orig post I made it a point to look out for restaurants and there are a LOT of them in Lehigh. I just wish the Chinese ones were like the ones in NJ/NY with real chefs. I know real Chinese food and it doesn't exist ANYWHERE in FL. Chinese people agree :). I have no idea if there are dance clubs for younger people because WE are not younger people. There are dance clubs here with my age.
Excellent, honest review. Thanks.
I was going to move from Hialeah to Lehigh Acres until I saw this VIDEO. Thanks man you saved my ass. I moved to Kendall instead and my two friends moved to Lehigh, they absolutely hate it.
People got to remember, Lehigh Acres was designed, and marketed, to be a retirement place for people up north who wanted out of the cold in their senior retirement years back in the 50s and 60s. Back in the 80s as a kid growing up here, Richmond avenue, and all the roads along leeland heights were full of seniors who were spending their retirement years living here. Work, and ease of commute was not in the planning. It was pretty fast to hit colonial and get to FT. Myers back then, now, several million people later, it is a long drive from A to B, not because of distance, but because of traffic and traffic lights, to include the interstate in the mornings and evenings. If you are just looking to relocate and find a convienient commute to a job, this probably isnt the spot. Just being honest. It was affordable, but is getting ridiculous fast as far as home and rent prices.
I am not sure what you were trying to accomplish, but this video is insanely propaganda. I lived in Lehigh Acres for over 10 years, and what you are saying is not true. I do not live from paycheck to paycheck and a lot of people I know here do not. I noticed that your video just basically circles around a very small area of Lehigh, the worse part. You can go anywhere in the country or in the world for that matter, and video the worst area to make a statement. That does not make what you are saying true about the entire place. Your comparison to Michigan cities doesn't even make sense. Lehigh Acres is a twenty-minute drive to Ft. Myers, why do we need to have all the stores that Ft. Myers has? Some people just want to have peace and quiet, live in their wonderful pool home (not the tiny homes in your video), and drive their nice cars out to Ft. Myers and the beach when they feel like it. And so what if Lehigh doesn't have Starbucks? Dunkin Donuts is quite enough for some. We have Walmart, why do we need Meijer as well? Life is not exceptionally hard here. It doesn't even seem like you are describing the same place I live.
Thank you for this comment
I lived in lehigh all my life and I have to disagree with 90 percent of this
99
One time, me and my parents were walking to the wallgreens, and there was this parade we didn't even know about. We watched, and some other people shared their 12 pack of dunkin donuts with us
This guy could not be more wrong, I understand that he is upset that he can not live in Naples. First Lehigh has a super Walmart, Bells department store, Ace Hardware, Two public's & and more supermarkets then I can count., A Beef O Brady's, Perkins, Mugs & Jugs, Duncan Donuts. A Rib City. As I write this they are almost finished building A Star Bucks & a Waffle House. Lots of smaller places to eat. (Mom & pop's) Plus 4 Chinese restaurants. 6 miles down the road there is the FORM shopping center where there is a Home Depot, A Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Pet supermarket, and about ten places to eat. also the population of lehigh acres is 114k. This is a nice place to live with lots of choices. just take a second and google what i have said. You will see this is just an angry young man that does not like his commute to work. I moved from Naples to Lehigh for the value and to get away from the traffic on rt 41.
Please stop.. your on well water and a septic tank. We have to use internet thru a hotspot. Please stop. I been to towns with 9,000 people that have more to offer. Please stop.. we have nothing here and need more investment
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Yes I am on a well and septic system like like millions of people in Florida. Not that it matters at all. Not every one in Lehigh is they do have city water in the older parts of town, As for internet I have D.S.S.L. from Century link, about 40 megabit. And I could get Comcast internet or xfinity. I know of no part of Lehigh that can not get internet from One if not all of those services. So You Please stop you are talking trash, with no facts to back it up.
Thank you for making this video. I remember when I was looking to relocate to Lehigh Acres back in the 90s when the Walmart first arrived, I was warned then that life in Lehigh is either vacationers or locals who do not work in the city they live. Praying for Florida ❤ PS. I also loved driving from Lehigh Acres into St. Petersburg to shop when I came to Lehigh every year for vacation. I can feel your pain on how it would be painstakingly different if I lived in Lehigh Acres and needed milk and could not drive 48 minutes to buy it. How are things today? Are you going to stay in this area or move further into Florida?
Not sure yet. Lehigh is still vastly lacking basic amenities and living here is somewhat inconvenient
That town just seems like a place where a new business can thrive. Miami has so much competition it's cut throat.
No costumers here and its very competitive in swfl
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS thanks for the information. I was looking at property for sale out there but everything seems to point me to a different location 😂

Again, invaluable real world info. It's like when u r a tourist and u stumble into a bar when u can finally escape the family and u all the local, what's it really like around here. U should do this for every town along the sw coast of Florida. Thank you
i work in miami but im thinking about buying a new house in a gated community near the ibis country club. I ride sports bikes and it looks like a good area to rip through
Best areas to ride are by lazy springs and the area of lehigh by buckingham off greenbriar. You need a realtor let me know wifes a realtor
Great video! I don't like Lehigh Acres, but instead I like Sarasota in Southwest Florida. It's seems like every cities that are not right on the beach in Florida are not well care by the goverment, they focuses on coast cities with the exception of Orlando.
Yeah you cant compare lehigh a suburb to sarasota a major destination
I just moved to Lehigh, it get a bad wrap, some deserved some not. I actually like where im at. Listen people there is crime everywhere.
Most of these chain businesses are getting a sweet heart deal from these city governments . Leigh acre's is unincorporated area , no sugar daddy . Go figure !
They got sugar daddies but they after something else
Excellent video of our home town Jose! Spot on with everything you said, other than there is a noise ordinance and I found this out back when we had Hurricane Irma and had a generator hooked up. Had to not run it from 10:30pm until 6:30 AM. Meanwhile yeah there is lots of music and noise and I live on what is considered the better side of Lehigh Acres AKA LA on the West Side. I am off Sunshine and 41st W. Have to move though, landlord wants to sell. Anyone wanting to move here and looking for a 3/2 2 car garage on 1/4 acre fenced in with an 8' tall privacy wood fence 1408 sq ft, that has an almost brand new HVAC and water system and is in pretty good shape for its age because I think it was built in 2006. I have lived here for just a couple of months shy of 10 years. I can't get a loan to save my life though I make a good living but being self employed sucks when you don't know you will have to one day need to show your actual income AFTER TAXES when you go to purchase a home. Apparently I don't earn that good of income where Uncle Sam is concerned. However the house would be worth it for someone not wanting to fight for it. If I don't' get the funding I need to buy it I sure wouldn't mind hooking someone else up with it who might even wish to have a house here with great on-time paying tenants in place at least until the end June while my mom finishes out her Cancer treatments she gets out in Fort Myers. The rents here have gotten way way crazy and are way way over priced. I can see some of the homes being worth what is being asked but many are owned by slum lords who see the high prices and want to jump on the high price charging train but don't want to fix up their properties to actually deserve what it would take to command such high priced rents. This is the very unfortunate part of living here and you are so very right about the commute in or out of this town and also there are many Cuban, Puerto Rican and Mexican food trucks and restaurants however most of these are not worth eating at! I am from Miami and my husband is Cuban and I know good cuban food and this here is far from it and shouldn't even be called food! Azucar is the only place close but they charge weird fees. There is a place on Joel and the corner of Palm Beach Blvd that is pretty good but again the ones here that work out of food trucks which we have so many now, they might even deliver but they are so not worth it. Gross nasty and I could not believe the number of people raving about how good they were once I ordered and tried for myself. Again thank you for your videos and reviews, your personal take might now always be appreciated by some but I live here and know your telling all truth!

I 1st visited Lehigh Acres in the early 2000s.... people have been building homes there (since and before then), and this place really hasn't been "up-and-coming". Not a lot of progress, truly. The video is very accurate.
Wow, I think that was an excellent, honest, and insightful review of Lehigh FL. I have lived adjacent to Lehigh in several areas, including Buckingham, and now Alva for 40 years. Your observations over 6 months are very close to mine over 40 years. The unvarnished, and unbiased truth makes for a great video, and good public service. Very well done.
I like this corner of lee county with all its pros n cons.
So do I, I think you laid out the pros and cons very well, so many videos are clickbait, nonsense,or just not accurate. You have a gift for articulating what you've seen and experienced, and presenting it truthfully and genuinely. All of SW Florida has changed, and a lot more is coming. Ft Myers is like Ft. Lauderdale was 25 years ago. Keep em coming.
Think...I will stay in Kissimmee after all..safer...was thinking of moving there...changed my mind..???
Lehigh is where the bodies get dumped. Any time someone gets whacked say in Cape Coral or Ft Myers the body gets dumped in Lehigh. Most of the time it’s burned.
AS WELL THEY SHOULD BE. BURNING CUTS DOWN ON DISEASES.
Hi there, wanted to circle back to see if the same was true today. I saw a segment on ABC where it speaks about the population growth from 2010 to 2021 rose by 31% and that in 2025 there are plans to bring some large hospitals. I spoke to a realtor who also said it's the next spot in Lee county to grow but then I see your video which I appreciate the perspective but yours shows that it's still underdeveloped. Is this the next 'Fort Myers' or 'Cape Coral' in terms of investing? I know you wrote that it's still lacking basic amenities. Is the city planning to fill these gaps that you are aware of?
We moved out, after ian not even internet for a month. I am selling my land there
The people from out of state who paid $250,000-$350,000 for a $70,000 house got ripped off and it's your own fault. No jobs, one main road lee blvd everyone drives like crazy and has accidents every day. Well Water and huge septic tanks buried in the front yard make it hard to mow the grass at a steep angle. It was built to make money on housing with no business planning.
I try n tell them
Meijer is probably the best stores in the country, but unfortunately they are only located in the Midwest.
Good quality and prices
i find this clip is very informative
Jose would you rather take the unbearable snow up north or sizzling summer heat in florida?
in an idea world you would snowbird and see the best of both words, warm winters here and pleasant summers up there. its not the weather, its the vibes.. you can still go to the beach in the heat. you can still do alot of outdoor activities in the heat. and also, there are no road closures due to heat in fact the hotter it gets the less tourist come around. but i will say while i perffer this, its HARD on your mental health.. the cold has a refreshing aspect while the heat wears you down. but still hands down, a hot summer is better than a frozen winter.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS thanks keep on the good work
the cold makes me sad and depressed. i need to see sunny blue skies and people on meth outside a gas station LOL
I actually liked Lehigh lol. I was there only for 9 months though. I rented a house out on Conlee near 82....700.00 a month. It's obviously changed since 2011 though.
You really spreading false information
I don't know this area but somehow it seems an incomplete picture
Idk why they have had plenty of time to do something with Lehigh im from Clewiston so its and upgrade but Cape Coral is fairly new and its NIGHT & DAY....not even a neighborhood walmart CRAZY hes right there's nothing out hear plus its PRICED OUT now because of all the NEW traffic NEW CONSTRUCTION EVERYWHERE....!!!!
I have friends who moved to Lehigh Acres and always saying it's great and that I can find a nice senior place but I did my research and like you say in this video, there is nothing. I live in a Midwest city and have so much within a few miles, from medical to shopping to entertainment. Going to stay put and put up with a few cold months and a few weeks of yucky summer weather.
Hi, I'm curious if you explain somewhere the parts of Leighigh so I can better understand and explain to my parents?
What do you think about build a new house and then sell it? Is it a good business for you? What area in Lehigh acres do you recomend?
I'm thinking about doing the same thing.
Great video José 👌 myself now being in Michigan after 26 years in south Florida this is very accurate. I'm in rural area but within a short drive there's Walmart, Meijer thrifty acres, plenty of souvenir style boutiques like we have on Siesta key or St armands circle. The clothing up here is better quality I think it's also due to the brutal wind and cold temperatures up here with all of these lakes dotting the area they have to offer clothing that protects well. Also, just like anywhere if you move to a remote area you will get access to privacy, and cheaper prices on land etc. But there is a price to pay up here believe me!! In these areas where it's rural, you get the anti society and anti government types. Let's just say there is basically no culture whatsoever. Personally I miss Florida, I'm a true floridian, I love the climate, the variety of coastal areas, humidity I even ❤️.
I also think because of all the lakes in Michigan you get alot of people with$$ from other areas of the country who buy cabins in the woods to snowmobile in winter or hike in fall, or cabins on the lakes to boat and jet ski in summers. So up here there are a ton of jobs, a huge shortage of workers, especially if you provide a service like property management, snow clearing, or landscape etc you could make a killing$$
the anti government crap is exactly the type of people that ruined my time in alabama i wont nothing to do with those kinds. Actionkid is live streaming from Miami right now, i keep my beaches and cultures and yes even humidity.

It really isn't that bad. So please stop with the bullshit. You are working your opinion that's great but saying we all live from pay check to pay check is a damn lie
You say the nearest big city is 300 miles away you video is from the back of lehigh acres where most people stay in lehigh there is a Starbucks 13 minutes from my house its considered fort myers lehigh acres was literally woods 16 years ago lee it is literally one of the biggest booming counties in the nation it went from a 1 house on each road when i moved here as a freshman in high-school to literally 6 new homes on each road
This video isn't a good video to show people lehigh it's nowhere near a big city but booming at a great rate and crime is nowhere near what he says Naples is a rich city compared to most cities but every thing you said about lehigh happens in every city you just make it sound like it's all day in lehigh that's a LIE lehigh is booming and had its share of crimes when it first started growing when there was 1 house on every road around 2009 since then housing went from 850 to 1650 because the economy has been booming it went from 1 lane main road to 3 lanes from no neighbors to whole neighborhoods and nice friendly neighbors it's only 1 walmart in lehigh but 2 more walmarts within 20 minutes Starbucks is not considered in lehigh but I stay in lehigh and it's 11 minutes away next to the target homedepot Moe's dunkins and all the other 20 stores within 2 minutes from it lehigh is a weird location because if you walk across 82 it's considered fort myers but stop the slander you sound like Karen don't like the city
Appelby is shit food, but it's not far outside Lehigh. Starbucks? blech, there is McDonalds and Dunkin for that. I see a lot of large and empty stores in Michigan and well, they won't stay in business long. At least people SHOP at Lehigh stores. Not many people living in Lehigh work in Naples - too far.
When I moved here it was literally the boonies. Lee Blvd was one lane each way, there was ONE traffic light in the whole city. Now it's more built up.
Okay but really what is this video? 🤣 This man really complaining cuz he is failing that's sad
being alive itself is good.
Your not Naples Florida material, Lehigh Acres is where you belong …
Im not getting it. Okay so theres no work in lehigh so you have to commute a little bit. So how is that hard? To me that is ideal. Your not in the hustle bustle of the city with less traffic and it seems more quiet there. If you want the beach bars and party life is only 30 to 40 minutes away. 🤷♂️. You ask me you get the best of both worlds. I live in michigan and am a city boy. Grew up and raised in places bigger than fort myers or naples. I lived out in the serious country for 20yrs. Way more country the lehigh and drove 45 minutes to work every day for 20yrs plus. I like that its more affordable and have a little privacy. I will be looking to lehigh when I move to florida later this yr. Jmho
you really not getting.. lehigh is harder than california to live
Man I live in Cape Coral. It’s awesome here.
Can you do a video on the better parts of this town?
Stop complaining 🤣🤣🤣 if you ion like Lehigh move den it's not that hard
getting out of lehigh is not hard? you done lost yo mind LOL
Hello could you do photos and video in Cape Coral for me,?
Did they close the Walmart in Lehigh?
Move if you are so unhappy there. Why anyone would want to live there is beyond me anyway. Looks rather dull and not very pretty. I'll stay in my small town with no stores, resturants or neighbors.
lehigh acres for people who have money and want to live outside of gero and the neighbors I live here for 7 years and it is the best place to live
😂😂😂 “best place to live” .. bless your heart. Were here because its all you can afford. I an sure your neighbors are nice… nice neighbors are the ones you don’t know.
Thinking about getting a house In Eisenhower, how does that area compare?
not bad, just stay far away from alabama road
Ain't gonna lie, Lehigh acres is a good place to live i have lived there for years and the houses changes into cool-looking houses today like if i am a grown up, then i will create a flag for Lehigh acres to be popular again because people that lives in the US, don't really care about Lehigh acres and that makes me sad that people don't care about it.
I live in Lehigh Acres fl
Nice.
Lol i moved from Marquette a year ago down here to lehigh i understand
WOW!!! OKAY I need to hear your prospective on shopping, housing income and if going back there is even an option LOL
dont forget, i got paid for it on youtube. I just put a $3000 sound system in my truck so next time I visit your town I can wake you lazy folks up might get you outta bed and looking for a job.
Well one thing i noticed in marquette you can rent a house with no credit in lehigh you cant rent if you dont have credit and you need proof of an income so its definitely hard to rent in lehigh if youre young and dont have a credit card
One word describes Lehigh, DEPRESSING!
Yeah kinda ngl
where did u previously live in alabama?
Montgomery area. Elmore county
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS ok thanks bro

Alot.. of South Americans and illegal immigrants live there with there loud music..it's a cowboy place....
All around the country
Crazy to think that Lehigh has a bigger population than West Palm Beach
And still doesn’t even have a Starbucks or an Applebee’s.
Crime
Where is this, Pennsylvania?
There is one in Pennsylvania but were in Florida 😂
i have lived here really long 1999
I always gotta laugh when people refer to Florida as tropical. Tropical places experience nearly the same temperature and day length year-round. Florida is warm temperate and categorized as subtropical. Subtropical literally means outside the tropics 😆
collier, monroe and dade have real tropical areas along the coast
Stay in south Florida Yankees y’all leave rural Florida alone
They are welcome here on my end
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I was mostly kidding . But sometimes I’m kind of sad to see areas of our state developed. But that’s the future
This Is where I live
I know where you live 😏
War in Europe and a Turtle on 00:04 on the Start of the Video - Love Peace and Harmony - Greetings from Germany
YES! "tortoise" more than turtle.. turtle likes water.. this little guy likes sand. "Gopher tortoise" .. technically not a turtle.. but yes.. I still call it a turtle it sounds more cool LOL - We have both turtles and tortoises here in lehigh acres.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Ohhhhhhkay , confusing me xD but thks for this Info :)
The South has always gotten the raw end of the deal!!

Move back 2 Naples Florida. Simple.
Let me just write a check..
It’s pronounce ( my ers ) lol I’m from Cleveland ohio moved to naples, Florida and people tell me don’t ever dare move to Lehigh 😂😂😂
Hey look it’s my house
Even though it seems like you live out in the "boonies"??? Have you ever thought about running for some type of political office where you can make a stance against the "organize structure " that is established out there???🤔👍👍👍
We make videos about traveling not politics 👎
Lehigh Acres should build an Apple Bee's 🍎 Starbucks 3 more Walmarts and Meijers
we're getting a starbucks and a chipotle right by the walmart
Fall river is worst
I moved here 10 years ago. Love living in LA. It’s cheaper than Naples. My wife and I don’t have any problem shopping in LA. Dinning, I’ll give that one! It is limited to only a few places. Fast food is even bad in LA. The workers have NO ethics what so ever. Like McDonals, you’ll get crap food quality from them. Cold fries, horribly built burgers. But just a few miles away you have hundreds of options. That all being said, the weather is why I am her. I hate snow. I grew up in S w PA. I don’t like cold and snowy weather! Michigan is fucking cold too cold!
the cold is seriously depressing. no profanity here tho thanks. we have famillies who watch our videos with their kids
There wasn’t profanity in this post! Just facts! I’ve leaved here for 10 years! Every town has its pitfalls. Cape Coral is worse! But that’s another review, right! Biggest fact is the awesome weather we have in SWF! If you can’t take the heat? Get out of the kitchen, cupcake!
What homeless camp are you talking of .
im glad i left, im now in greensboro north carolina, much better
🌴☀️🚔
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS omg dude. I'm in one of your videos. I was in a Kia Sedona van that drive by you while you were filming. Lol
@@RealLegoBeast LOL small world. lehigh remains the same.. canals, rents, duplexes LOL
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS hey I know 😂 Mention mosquitoes next time around lol. Also mention that 80 percents are on CenturyLink internet which is garbage lol. I'm glad I made it out after 10 years there.
Okay, no bad words! Big baby! I have lived in LA for 10 years. We’ve living in 3 gated community’s. Of course nice. Currently, we live in a home not gated. It took us a while to get a nice place. But with rentals so high we are luck what we pay. Yes LA has limited dinning experiences. Even fast food is bad! Workers here in LA, have NO ethics. But there are a couple places that are nice. We found a great Mexican restaurant. Pricey but very very good! Noise is high here as far as jerks and there Boom cars or diesel trunks racing around.
Great Dinning, just miles away in Ft. Myers, awesome dinning experience!
Now the weather in SWF is awesome. You can have the cold in Michigan! No snow for me. Sunshine all the time is awesome for the soul!
No bad words? You mean i am not a foul mouthed pig? people watch these videos with their families. Whats the good mexican place you found? and yes we do keep this channel clean
@E-ticket Cuban food here is good, puerto rican too. good BBQ in the area as well. But we dont really have EVERY type of food here. we have Caribbean, BBQ and thats it. As i travel .. you find good places for food like New Orleans.. mexican food there and in San Antonio.. WAYYY better than anything in Florida not just LA. NYC, DETROIT.. its all kinda cusines out here. I still aint found decent mexican food.. if you know one tell me and i go check it out. The salvadorean place is good tho.. on lee. and we still dont have a sit down colombian place.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS it’s next to The Grease Monkey. Can’t recall it’s name. Check it out!
@E-ticket where is all this good food in Lehigh? Like I said,we found the Mexican Restaurant next to the Grease Monkey, excellent! What else? I am not talk food trucks! I am sure some of those are very good. But, sit down restaurants?
