I LOVE watching Shiyu play. I know nothing about drums and couldn’t play the simplest beat, but somehow it doesn’t matter. It’s obvious that he is ridiculously skilled, his movements have a natural effortlessness that’s beautiful, and he clearly loves playing the drums (if in doubt watch some of their covers) which is just lovely to see.
Great reaction Mr B 👌🏻 There’s a better drum playthrough for the song “Gou Ni Moyu”. You can really see what the drummer is doing and there’s a camera on his feet as well. If you’re interested, the video is on Sokoninaru’s official UA-cam channel 🙏🏻
Nah he is a dual-wand wielding wizard with those beautiful swish and flicks. I have never payed much attention to drummers before I came across Sokoninaru and saw Shiyu play. There’s just something mesmerising about watching someone do what they are clearly meant to be doing. Most drummers look like it’s very hard work (which I am sure it is!), but somehow the way Shiyu moves makes it look effortless 🤯
@@Shiroar Yes he does make it look easy and I think he was born to a drummer he is just natural and great to watch he need to at the front off the stage not at the back so we can all see his talent
@@OldMrB unfortunately he was only their support drummer which is probably part of why he was always hidden in the background (except for the covers they’ve done which is a chance to see him smile and do crazy tricks with the drumsticks). And since a few weeks ago he is not even their support drummer 😭 I don’t speak Japanese, but I think it has to do with him wanting to experience playing with lots of different bands and be acknowledged for his skills and not just as a band member of a band people like. Not too sure. I am just clinging to the hope that he will someday realise that Sokoninaru is the perfect fit for him and return not just as a support drummer but a full member 🤞 One can dream, right?
Nice, thanks Mr B
Thank you, Spinny Mathingy
