I had a 2010 charger sxt and my parents sold it and downgraded to a 2004 grand cherokee laredo. I am very pissed off. Im planning on buying my own car and not have anyone elses name on it but my own. Honestly the charger was better in every aspect. The sound system, the handling and performance, braking. Everything! I could go 80mph in the charger without the car trembling. And brake hard and turn sharp better too
Well, it's been eleven years since you bought this rig, and if you still have it, I'm really curious to hear how it has stood the test of time. I hear 2010 is the most reliable year for Jeep WK, and I'm shopping for one on the auction websites. Even if you sold it, please drop an update and let us know how well it ran while you owned it. @cebayne Awesome choice man! The 5.7 is a rocket, ao I can't imagine what the 6.1 would feel like. I had a Charger R/T before this, but it was an 07 so it only had 340hp. This has 360hp and more torque. I'll also be getting a 04 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 in a few weeks. That will have a Flowmaster and possibly an intake. Let me know when you get the SRT8...I wanna see videos!!!
@cebayne No 0-60 runs yet, but Chrysler claims under 6 sec. The only thing I don't like about it is the MDS 4-cyl system. The truck shuts off 4 of the 8 cylinders when cruising. So if I'm doing 40 and want some more power, it has to switch out of 4 cyl mode and it has a slight jerk to it. When it's in 4 cyl mode and you floor it, all 8 kick in right away, but if you just tap the gas, it takes awhile. Overall I can't fault it because it does help with MPG..I get 17-18 combined.
@BruisedASScheeks It depends on the trim level and options. The Hemi either comes on a loaded out Laredo or Limited. They can range anywhere from 18,000-25,000 used (for one with decent miles and in good shape). Good luck with the car searching, remember to do your research
