Like you are remote viewing the music. There's no question it's a true reaction... Air drums made me smile. Last compliment for now - the way you retain the info for your commentary afterwards is impressive, with colorful descriptions of the music, that are very accurate, there is philosophy & speculation as well - which is something that is lacking in mostly all reaction videos. I work in mental health as a peer(a person with lived experience with mental health issues). Have been doing this work for 15 years, it is equally rewarding and heart wrenching. This song was inspired by the movie "One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest" with Jack Nicholson. Great song!
Master of puppets was Cliff Burtons last album with the band,Metallica not only lost thier bassist in that horrible bus accident in 1986,but a musical genius as well.
(( 🎸 )) Sometime back in 1990's i went to see danzig, suicidal tendencies and Metallica and this was back when Metallica was doing their box set live. i remember it all too well, all three bands played at the fairgrounds in Allentown Pennsylvania and that place was so packed. Great times, great memories and great entertainment back then. one of Metallica's great songs here.

In the original demo tape of this song, the lyrics were very much different. The demo tape included no chorus; it contained basically the same tune, but halfway in the song cuts off into the bass Interlude of "Orion" which is another song on the album
I think the song is about someone trapped in an institution where they are being told, convinced that they are crazy, whispering in their head, being fed fears of what’s out there to keep them in the system- More now than ever I believe this song applies, our mental health care is a money making industry no different than our health care system where they want to continually look for issues which in turn create them, only now they do it with a smile and a fake demeanor of caring
