Gosh Im approaching 60...and I still dont think im too old !!!
I'm a solo lobo so I take care of everything myself including finances. Traveling alone is not a problem. I prefer it. Fortunately my sons are very responsible and independent.
❤️❤️❤️
If your are thinking about all of your life experiences you had from when you where age 20 to 50 - imagine you can have the same amount experience from age of 50 to 80 - but now you are wiser and probably have more money and life experience = better adventure is in front of you..👌👌
I’m turning 50 next year - I’m so close to jumping out of the hamster wheel- I just need the last push - I’m hoping to find the last push soon..🤞🤞
when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Wishing you all the best on your journey
@kennethjensen5787 Very true. Several factors keep people on that wheel unless they wake up and shake the habit.
Perfect timing! I am 51 and just decided it is time to start thinking about starting a business.
Wow, how exciting! Best of luck and I'd love to hear more about your business
seriously if this chat has insipired u to start a business think again............xx shes making some money but unless u have a pot of cash to play with ...............dont.
You are a great courage maker! Thanks for Sharing 🎉❤😊
Great Woman. ❤ Maybe I will also have the courage to change.
Another great video . Give your kids a good education and you won't get stacked with them in your house for rest of your life !
Its a bitter-sweet moment when they leave the nest
@@Daphna. For sure it is .
Thank you for validating advice I LOVE
Traveling alone I thought would be tough to do but I think I could do it. Your right about investments, your partner should know everything about accounts, passwords and Banking information. You never know when you'll have to take control of everything. Life changes on a dime.....
Of course you can do it!
Good advise about knowing passwords and details , I personally just had to confront this issue when my wife passed away , I never had done any online banking before , didn’t know how to pay the accounts , my wife did it all ,
@@asgaardnext3653 Hang in there. Sorry for your loss.
Thank you for this…a much needed reminder….time alone and silence ✨
Taking time for yourself and embracing silence can truly work wonders

0:47 - tip 1 - pursue your dreams. we owe it to ourselves. it's never too late. stop rejecting others before they reject you.
1:05 - tip 2 - don't hold your tongue. speak up.
2:23 - tip 3 - stop thinking that investing and money are boring. take charge of your investing and money. it's essential for your survival.
3:13 - tip 4 - negotiate. don't be afraid of negotiating. don't compromise on what you believe you deserve.
4:10 - tip 5 - stop over-supporting your adult children.
5:45 - tip 6 - don't let anxiety run your life. anxiety can be a symptom of growth. it's not necessarily a bad thing. listen to your inner voice rather than the advice of others.
7:37 - tip 7 - extra finance tips from Daphna ❤
Thank you Anna

Advice
@@KimmyWood correct 👍
We are kindred spirits, Daphna. There's a small generational gap in our states of mind that can't be helped. We arrived in this moment of time along very different paths. Suffice to say, I latched onto you, my friend Daphna, and your blog five or six months ago, and without a doubt it has been a breath of fresh air to find someone else living life while sharing freely the spontaneous random fleeting thoughts flying by inside and outside of her mind The best part has been your writer's self-analytical side that periodically stops and takes the time to make sense of where she is and whether where she's going is down the right path.
As the great philosopher Yogi Berra once said, when you come to a fork in the road, take it.
Today I know enough to also consider that turning around could be a wiser choice, though admittedly a far less adventurous one.
thanks for sharing your thoughts with me and the whole community here, it means a lot and thank you for being here ❤️ ❤️
When you ran up the hill and lay back against the house wall like a twenty something i smiled a warm smile and said who ever is holding the camera must be your Beau i hope so because you were all smiles and carefree a free spirit as one should be in our middle years thank you for a interesting video.
Im glad that my video brought a smile to your face😊 Your kind words truly motivate me to keep sharing more moments like this. Best wishes to you David
Where is that beautiful place - the white houses with the strip of sandy beach? It looks so peaceful 😊.
Its either in Portugal or in Spain. I'm not sure which part you're talking about. Glad you found it peaceful. Happy travels🏖️🌞
:--) hat of for bullshit - never to be put in a corner by anyone - enjoyed the motivational insight from you in last of winter month - Tc from Denmark, thank you
Hey Denmark 👋🇩🇰
Hi, many regards from Valencia. Ralf from Berlin
Happy travels
I got the time in April to go to Portugal and yet I won’t yet buy a ticket because I have no one to travel with currently. I’m trying to muster up the courage to go solo! I guess my fears are only English speaking. Thanks for your advice. I’ve always been independent so some advice I already do it.
Solo is the best travel, there is no one to let you down.....you meet many people...
I have a feeling you’re going to do it😊 best of luck on your journey
You can do it, and when you will realize it, you'll be so happy, free and proud of yourself! That moment will stand out as a stepping point into a totally new world, new you, new way of life ❤. Trust the timing and trust yourself. When that moment comes, nothing can stop you. How do I know? My dear fellow soul in this beautiful planet, I have lived through it as well, 20 yrs ago. There is no rush. When the inner calling gets loud enough, you will open up your beautiful wings and simply fly off. ❤
I’m 53 and solo travel all over the world. Believe me once you do it you will LOVE it! It is SO empowering and you get to do what you want, when you want. You can eat whenever you want, whatever you want. Sleep when you want, wake when you want. Meet who you want or not talk to anyone at all if you don’t want. It is so refreshing and wonderful. As I write this I’m in Fukuoka Japan and I don’t speak a word of Japanese. I’ve been here for 2 months now and have traveled all over the country solo from Tokyo to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kamakura, and now Fukuoka. I just spent a couple months in Costa Rica before this and drove solo from one end of the country in Guanacaste all the way to the Osa Penninusila. Again, I don’t speak a word of Spanish. But with google translate you can do anything! You never know what you’ll learn about yourself or the amazing connections you will make. I highly recommend it! Now, Just go Do It! Happy traveling. 🫶
@@sariannanikkola8700 So beautifully said!
Daphna , you are amazing !!
Im so glad you liked it! Would you share which part inspired you?
The anxiety that pushes us back. But I think it's not people's fault. Middle class is suffering silently in the dark. Financially, but also because there is no much free time. But the way that you give people hope, is what I find all your videos and you , amazing!
We need to get rid of the shame around money, spending and debt. Shame on the system that made us memorize historical dates but didn’t take the time to teach us basic money skills
@@Daphna. 100% agree !!
@@Daphna. I agree. It's a little challenging to be comfortable with having enough money when so many people don't. I do donate some $ to non-profits that help to better peoples' lives, but of course I want to keep my $ for paying my simple bills and having simple pleasures (which don't cost much)--maybe some extravagance once in a while.
