2022 winter Olympics.. same thing. wow
It's hard to get people on your side, when your doing the right thing.😑😢
So she was going to leave him.... Until she needed him.... Gross
I feel bad for Alyssa M. Her tears bring me to tears.
Ban Russia and everything Russian. All the more reasons now
They dont learn do they...
Russia should just be banned from everything
Now if only we could give the same amount of admiration for Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, Daniel Hale, Julian Assange, etc.
60 minutes did long episodes on many of those...all you gotta do is use you're fingers and search for them...
why would we honor 4 FSB assets?
And yet this week at the 2022 Winter OG, where Russia is competing, another of their top figure skating athlets was found to be doping. But sure, let's all act surprised.... 🙄 I guess someone will pay in Russia for not altering the results very well
Nothing kills you more inside than living with "what if"
I don’t think countries like Russia that continually have corruption discovered in their sports organization should simply be banned forever from competitive sports, across the globe. They should have been banned from the Sochi Olympics, which I read was going to happen a mere 3 months before the Games began. Somehow, the Russian government always prevails in continuing to “compete” and win by cheating no matter what they do. It’s absolutely disgusting!
SHUT UP
Agree. Now they are doping 15 year olds for the Olympics. Just ban them already.
Still unbelivable to this day
OMG Duc Phuc , i like your cover version. Love it !
Living under the witness protection program!
Glad that they were caught. Cheating is wrong. And wrong is wrong.
Imagine if the US actually looked within and retrospectively investigate Flo Jo and then others.
some say if you ain't cheating you ain't trying hard enough
He looks very different here than he did in 'Icarus'. 😔.
She didn’t/doesn’t deserve a man like him
cope
watching now in the year 2022, while #BeijingOlympics2022 is happening. Thank you HERO/INES!
I wonder if there are other countries doing this or if it is truly an isolated thing...
I don’t think it’s isolated. I’m afraid that some of the United States track teams of 2022 may be doping.
Good point.
US has a history of doping as well@@MADMANCA
@@Br33zeKooLnot government
Sponsored though
EVERY country does this!!!
I’m watching this cause I’m a Houston Astros fan and was told this doping program allegedly inspired the alleged sign stealing scandal.
Netflix or youtube ICARUS dont listen to 60 mins
Mychal Ellis yep just watched it
Yea watched it before this. I couldn't help but like Grigory or however you spell it
She only agreed to testify after she was disqualified, pathetic.
Yes, everything is much simpler, remember in 2014 this Russian doping scandal? Well, this allowed the internal viewer to present it as another insult from the West, which increased the effect of the capture of the Crimea. And this time it will be the same, almost certainly. So this is just another tactical move of putin.
What if she didn’t hurt the leg? What will happen with the taxi driver?
The US anti-doping guy is like “can you believe it?!? The Russians were cheating! We would never...” but can barely hold back his smile
That is in your sick imagination about ''can barely hold back his smile'' part. Russians massively cheated and OPENLY too among them. Even the chinese or the north korean cannot be that brazen. There is no culture of massive cheating in sport in any other country on Earth but russia. Before, it was russia and east Germany. Now russia is alone in that shameful zone.
I think he smiles because nobody is really surprised about Russia doping
Other athletes are also on steroids and not just in the Olympics. Who remembers Ben Johnson and Lance Armstrong? Or what about Marion Jones? Even if it hasn't been proven yet, it would not surprise me if Michael Phelps had doped also. Yes these athletes should be banned but this is just the tip of a very dirty iceberg.
Michael Phelps was tested and was found not to have taken drugs. The testers here in America aren't as corrupted as they are in Russia.
@@johnsimms3957 All Olympic champions are tested for steroids and many initially test negative but it is later revealed that they took drugs. Look at Marion Jones. I can't prove that Michael Phelps has taken steroids but Lance Armstrong has taught me that when one athlete wins every time, it' s more than just natural ability.
Lance Armstrong had the advantage of his experience in battling cancer to be able to dope without being detected for much longer than other cheaters. To think Phelps doped at all is a stretch as his natural physique (his arm span is ridiculous) is more prime to develop athletically organically than what doping could ever provide.
@@meligoth i thought armstrong just used his own blood bags before competition, which probably wasn't detectable back then but gave significant advantage in endurance.
Yes, there are sportspeople that do doping, yet you have to understand the difference between an individual's choice to do it and the entire government standing behind that. As a tax payer, I'd be furious to know that my money goes to fund cheaters. Some of them were forced to take the drugs by the corrupt authorities. Jeee, if only Russia directed its resources to a better cause...
Lived in Russia for 13 years..seen enough..
This used in Icarus?
They always win arm wrestling
How is her and Edward Snowden any different. One man's traitor is another man's whistleblower
If you break a crime, you're gonna do the time!
One gave classified intelligence to a foreign foe..another exposed a doping scandal...two different issues
Um, Alysia Montaño came in 6th...
"U.S. 800m runner Alysia Montaño will receive her first world outdoor track and field championships medals, six and nine years after being cheated out of them.
Montaño will be in Doha for the world championships that start next week, not to compete but to be given bronze medals from the 2011 and 2013 World Championships, according to her social media.
Montaño crossed the finish line fourth in each of those world 800m finals. Russian Maria Savinova, an original gold and silver medalist in those respective races, was retroactively stripped of those medals (and her 2012 Olympic title) years later for doping. That cleared the way for Montaño’s upgrade."
@@misticollom2159 Well the Alysia Montaño segment in this report covers nothing on the World Championships, just the 2012 London Olympics Women's 800m in which she placed 6th. Mariya Savinova and Elena Arzhakova have now both been disqualified for doping, still only bumping Montaño up to 4th and leaving here without a medal. 60 minutes forgot to mention that even without the two Russians in front of her, she still did not finish in a podium place. Thank you for the irrelevant copy&paste though. I'll give you 4th place for that effort; no medal though, sorry.
Lets open- SOG -Steroids Open Games so no 1 will be jealous about performance and medals
Another woman running back to her man when she wasn't going to be taken care of by the state any longer, he should have dumped her.
Does anyone think that Russia is the only one doping or that this practice stopped?
Steroids is not cheating
why not
He’s pathetic for taking the drug cheat back
Tell it to the Williams "brothers" ...🤣🤣🤣
+
Виталий Трубицын Another jealous white boy angry at black success I see....🤣
2nd
Hypocrite USA Trying to accuse the same mistakes they do
Total BS and they were cleared.
No they weren't cleared. They took drugs because they could not win without them.
John Simms They didn’t get drugs
@tilin campana Nope not true
@@ranelgallardo7031 They got drugs and the Russkie officials were sponsoring the cheating. They were banned from Rio. And subsequently the athletes who were proven clean, played under IOC flag.
@@HusseinDoha Not true man they got banned for international political issues. Nothing more
