Wow that was a nice build. Congrats with you reward, although i wonder what more you could have done to make it better and grab 1th place. A real beauty this kit. And a more beautifull endresult.
@@OMGscaleworks that is the spirit. My wife told me: i am proud of what you build. But when you build like omg i am walking out next to my shoes and will show everybody pictures. Untill now she wears shoes and has no pictures to show for. But i am getting better. What will be the next superbuild???
@@OMGscaleworks Was it the type of contest where each entry is judged individually and given an award? (Basically only competing with itself) If so that makes more sense, but even still, their standards must be insanely high if this didn’t make a gold 😅
Great job. It must be nice to be living in a city that actually has a hobby store you can visit to find kits and accessories. I imagine being in a city as large as Las Vegas and not having a hobby store.
Beautiful work, you did a magnificent job on this build. One thing I always see on all the builds of this kit is how the rear tires are not centered on the wheel openings. Additionally, they should go deeper into the body but it's no critisism from my part, I guess it's just flaws that come with the kit. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
A beautiful model of a gorgeous car. There is a small error in your video as it says 'Engine Detail' before the section on widow fitting. Thank you for another inspiring video and good luck for Gold next year.
Thank you so much David. About the base actually it is acrylic photo frame that I bought it from online store and I designed and printed the printing myself.
Hi, can I ask about your waiting times in between coats when using Tamiya paints and Mr hobby leveling thinner? I recently ruined my paintjob because my paint never really have dried and I’ve got „hot paint” even after couple of days. Probably my waiting times where too short and some of the coats never cured properly. Thanks a lot for any tips for how many coats light/wet and what mix and what drying time in between. And how do you deal with any dust on your color coats? Because you don’t polish them, right? Love your paintjobs! They are extremely clean :)
I usually wait about an hour for each coat to dry before I apply the next coat, but before that I use a fine sandpaper to remove any dust before I continue. After applying the clear coat, I wait about 2-3 days for it to dry, and then I polish it. Thank you so much for your comment, and I would really appreciate it if you could support me by subscribing to my channel.
@@OMGscaleworks thanks for answering! Meanwhile I switched to lacquer paints for the body, they dry much quicker :) I already subscribed long time ago! Great content, thank you!
Beautiful work! Sorry if I missed it in the video, but what product do you use to get the parts to stick to the q-tip so you can place it on the car and then lose adhesion as you twist it? I’ve never seen that technique before, but I love it.
Nice work...but few major errors (mechanical parts colors, bodywork, interior, dashboard...) on this well documented car ! actually, seem more be the restored car instead the real Targa Florio car.😕
I apologize for any inaccuracies. I probably have not enough information about this car. I will address these issues in the next project. Thank you very much for the advice.

Amazing work!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love the model as much as the birds singing.Amazing.
Thank you, glad you like it.
Nice, straightforward build.
Glad you like it, thanks
Very nice build indeed! And, as a Swede, I very much appreciate your choice of color scheme!👍
Thanks a lot friend. This build’s color theme is my fevorite for 250GTO, tribute to Swedish racer Ulf Norinder in 1964.

That is an amazing build. Excellent attention to everything on the model. Just makes wonder what the 1st place build looks like. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing spotless work!! You made me build this one next time, it is a really cool kit!

Wow
Your work is amazing! Keep building and keep posting! I love how you edit your videos too!
Great trick with the water bottle for holding the body while paiting, I will use it.
Thank you so much!
Toll!!!
Congratulations man 🎉
Thanks a lot buddy!
bravo
Thank you friend.
I am still wondering what it takes to get the gold medal! This build is perfect!
Next time gold would be mine, thanks a lot man.
Congratulations, I see in your intentions. Thank you for creating good works. ^______^
Wowww This is your first international comment. Stunning me!
I keep watching this such an amazing job. What masking tape do u use for the body and what making tape for the chrome
I used “3M Washi masking tape” in this project. I feel so good that you like my work, Thanks a lot!
@@OMGscaleworks it’s my favorite kit I want to do and this is the best build I have ever seen for it.
Love to see a video on all the tools u use.

Thanks for the info!
Excellent build and quality as always but no finished engine shot?
Thank you so much Jake, I forgot to open the bonnet when I film it so sorry!
That is a great car, and fantastic modeling skill! Does anyone know what those sticks are at 33:32?
Thank you very much! The stick you saw it's just toothpick with doubleside tape on the tip.
Excellent work. I think you could skip the white primer layer. Make a Lamborghini Mura too my favorite car.
Noted! 😉
@@OMGscaleworksI'm always learning. I'm curious, why did you paint the entire body with yellow? I want to try Glasurit 2k clear
คู่ควรกับรางวัลเลยคับพี่ สวยจริงๆๆ
ขอบคุณมากคร้าบพี่ทิพย์ ^^
Beauty of work , hey friend what did You use for the small part that Wooden sticky thing ?
Thank you, the wooden thing is just a toothpick with a tip of double side tape. It’s easy to make but very useful.
Amazing build as always. Did you make the acrylic display base or can you buy these?
Thank you so much David. About the base actually it is acrylic photo frame that I bought it from online store and I designed and printed the printing myself.

Why did you choose to paint blue over yellow instead of the blue over the primer and then paint the yellow stripe?
Because of yellow paint is a bit translucent, it’s look more green when paint it over blue. I recognized this when I test it on plastic spoon.
Hello. The painting of the window frame is very nice and meticulous.
What silver color are you using? I'll use it as a reference! Thank you.
It’s Alclad chrome II (107) let’s try it’s good.
@@OMGscaleworks Thanks very much for your instruction.

@Jason PITT Thank for your visiting and glad you like it! That sticky thing you ask me it just a two sided tissue tape from 3M.
Nice job! Congratulation! A question: how much large Yellow stripe?
Not sure, I'll check it and let youknow again. Thanks for visiting.
Hi, The glasurit 2K clear coat. Which one do you use? What's the product's reference number?
It’s 923-255 for clear coat and 929-94 for hardener.
Where can you find those sanding sponges?
It’s from Tamiya, I think you can find them in big hobby store in your area. Or you can use Scotch 3M Sanding sponge also. Maybe more easy to find.

Do I understand right, the kit is from '64?

Where can I get a set of the engraving tools you use?
I got it from local shoping app it made in Taiwan. Maybe you can find it in tour country just search “U-Star Scribing Tool”
