One of my favorite cars from one of my favorite builders! Absolutely outstanding build. I am hoping to get my hands on this kit someday to build myself. Thank you for sharing your hard work Mr Lin. Happy New Year to you and wishing you a happy and successful 2024!
thank you my friend!!😄 this kit is nice and easy to build.. you don't have to do some modify and detail up like me and it will came out pretty good.. definitely recommend!!😄
The Friday is not getting any better than with a magic build from Mr Lin. You have treated us well in the beginning of the new year. You have made a iconic Ferrari into a even more iconic work of art and beauty. May you have a very Happy and productive New Year, that means:We will have a lot of stunning video,s more to see from you.
Don't think I've ever seen a build video of this particular car, but the photoetch and other details really make it outstanding. The paint finish is excellent and those Borrani wheels look miles better than the original items in the kit and seem surprisingly easy to put together.
Wonderful build of a beautiful car. I always finish your videos with great inspiration of things and techniques to adapt to my builds, thank you for the video - I can hardly wait to see what you do next - but it is totally worth waiting for!
The 250GTO, in my opinion, is the most beautiful car ever built. I don’t have this kit, but I’m going to get it! Your car came out beautifully!! It’s giving me an inspiration to build one for myself! Thank you!
Wow. What a stunning finished model. I have been looking at this kit for a long time but have not purchased but now I feel I must and hopefully produce a beautiful model like yours. Amazing modeling, my friend.
nice to see you my friend!!😄 althought this kit got some aged, the shape of the body is still very nice.. 250 GTO is such a beautiful car..I will definitely build it again!!🙌
OMG that is just beautiful! I have to clean the drool off my keyboard now. It seems I thoroughly enjoyed the high quality of your build video a little too much :) So, will you be having a go at the new Tamiya GMA T-50 or a wholly different subject matter? I know you do planes as well, but have you ever thought of expanding into Ships or even Sci-Fi? I reckon your skills and attention to detail would translate amazingly well into a different genre to cars and planes. Regardless of you choose next, I and many others will be watching whatever it is. Have a great new year mate!
hi,I don't have a specific choice about the model. Most of it depends on my own preferences...I always like '60-'70's car and WW2 plane.. I will try different subject for fun..especially for sci-fi region!! Thank you very much !!!😄
I really like the effort you put into this video to show all the small extras you did on this beautiful kit. It is amazing what some photo etch and a few extra items can do for a kit that is already quite good. You did an amazing job on this one and thank you for sharing all your time and efforts.
hi, this fujimi kit is a special version RS-35 EX-1,the kit include custom wire wheels, the P.E set is from hobby desige..I did not use all of them..I feel some of them are lack of three-dimensionality.. cheers!! 😄
Amazing work. What glue are you using? It appears that you are gluing painted parts to painted parts. I was under the impression that you had to have bare plastic to make a good bond, which requires scrapping the painted areas at contact points. Again, amazing work!
This build is great too! But what paint is that bc 207? What brand? The dry & wet process is especially valid for lacquers, right? I would also like to know which chrome paint you use and whether you use 6000 sanding cloth dry or wet. Thank you.
hi,🙂 the BC 207 red is made by a japanese company called"berchetta", a very nice lacquer base paint,It’s a pity that it’s almost no longer available on the market now... about the dry & wet process ...I think it works on almostany kind of paint..just have to adjust the concentration according to the properties of the paint .. and the chrome is from "Finisher's"..also a a very nice lacquer base paint wish my video and reply is informable..🙌
by the way, sanding wet or dry depent on the condition of the surface..it there is some obvious defect,I will do dry sanding, after the defect is sand off, then wet sanding..
thank you very much!!🙂 I usually use this thinning ratio when "wet coating"..that will make the layer very thin.. This is the way that works for me. You can choose the method that works best for you..!🙂
@@MRLINSSCALEMODELING No, it obviously works great. I will have to try it. I bought this kit bc of your video. I'm trying to find where I can get the after market wheels that you used as well.
Hi there excellent build bud, I'm building one myself at the moment and taking a lot of tips from your video. Just a question about when you did the photo etch part for the dash, after painting it black how did you get the chrome dial surrounds back to chrome? Did you paint them in or sand the black back off?
hi,about the dash, I first paint it all in black, after the black is fully dried, sand around the gauge rim with #1500-#2000 sand paper, the result is very good!!😄
hi,I used to use 2K clear coat...however, I am not satisfied with its greasy feeling and the thickness of the coating...Maybe it’s just because of my poor skills...
The 250 GTO has always been my favorite Ferrari and it's one of the rarest with only 39 ever built. This model was done extremely well with all the photo etch and the home made add ons. But it wasn't as easy to build as the video shows. As a builder myself many things need correcting, changing, reshaping and regluing along the way. So what we're doing is "tweaking"our projects to perfection and most viewers don't know how critical things are in the hobby!
You're absolutely right!!😄 When I make models, I always want to move in a better and more perfect direction. It took me a lot of time to practice and gain experience.. When the results are good..satisfying..when it's not....disappointing.. wish I can improve my skills and taste, and that is what make modeling fun!! chees!!🙌

I hope that a small modification can have a big effect..
focusing on small details can have a big impact on the final result...
glad you like it!!
You are an artist of serious note!
thank you very much!!🙂
An absolute pleasure and joy to watch!
thank you very much!!🙂
Hope my video is entertaining.. glad you like it!!😄
No scale weld beads on the that roll cage? Excellent work though.
ha ha...It's too much trouble for me😂
maybe will do it next time..
thank you!!😊
Very good build, I like the attention to detail you have given, However for the front grill i observed that the ferrari horse emblem is reversed.
thank you very much!!🙂
I did'n notice that at all!!!!silly me.. fixed it already!!
again, thank you for your info!!🙌
Wonderfull. Just like anyone who's got real good skills you make it look easy. But I know better. You really brought this to the highest level!
thank you very much!!!
your support keep me carry on!!😊
Awesome work! Well done sir 👍

Beautiful work! Who is the manufacturer of the wheels and photo-etched details?

cheers!! 😄
Super sharp looking build. Nicely done.
thank you !!🙂
The masking was so satisfying. Beautiful work!
thank you very much!!🙂
Pure jewel! My only small regret is the seat's blue too "plastic" looking to my taste but anyway this model is a beauty! Congrats!
thank you very much!!🙂
Superb! really nice work with lots of home-made details.
May I ask where you can find old style seat belts?
Thank you
thank you,
about the seat belt, you can try "model car garage"P.E set.
Fantastic work!
thank you 😊
Nice video and great looking build 👍👍

thank you, when I glued painted parts,I usually use C.A glue or epoxy glue, sometimes,I just use wite glue..😊
Very nice work
thank you very much!!🙂
Nicely done!
thank you!!😊
Bravo Mr Lin
thank you very much!!🙂
Superb!
thank you!! 😊
What glue did you use for the clear parts my friend ?
The headlight covers?
hi,it's a PVA glue(white glue)..it's easy to use,and the excess glue could be clean with water😊

Hai qualche link per gli emblemi in 3d?
Ciao, l'adesivo badge 3D è un prodotto MFH. L'ho comprato online molti anni fa. Adesso è molto raro. Puoi provare a cercarlo.
