I've just come across your channel and really enjoy your works! I love how you built most of them straight out of the box, without crazy upgrade parts or custom build parts. I know you can improve a lot by customizing the parts, but for average builder, some won't have the skill or resources required to do that. I love how it shows what one can achieve straight out of the box, with proper paintwork and brush detailing! Awesome!
Thank you so much Alvinus, You are the first person to understand the purpose my channel wants to communicate to viewers. I want viewers of my videos to feel that creating beautiful models is not difficult without using detail up part or some special custom.
I've been building for over 40 years. Mine turned out exactly like yours. I went with their upgrades. I used Model Master Chrysler Engine Red # 2732 for the finish to a mirror polish using Micro Mark polishing sheets and Tamiya polishing compounds .To me, the LaFerrari is Tamiyas' top kit and even though they did a lot of nice cars they haven't topped it yet!
The effort you put into your models is "crazy". Very enjoyable to watch you and marvel at your great results. Thanks for not "entertaining" us with music. It's very satisfying for a modeler to hear the sounds of plastic being snipped and sanded, paint being sprayed, the glue brush being placed in the bottle.❤
stunning work! I've built this one also. the hardest for me was making all panels equally coated, the doors came out to be a little lighter shade of red than the rest of the body. Also struggled with the door fitting. It's an expert level model for sure, but the result is so rewarding in the end.
Thank you very much for the compliment. I also encountered the problems you mentioned. It takes patience and effort to fix it. My advice is test fit all parts before you actually paint and assemble them! 😉
Hi, congratulations on your painting technique! But do you apply a single coat of varnish for color base and then for clearcoat or is video not complete? I would also like to know what kind of paints do you use for red ... s.p.n.? Are they matt bases or lacquers? I have not found them online. And the 2K glasurit is there only one version or which one do you use specifically? Where are you from? Can I find them in Europe? Thank you.
Ok I’ve been trying to replicate your exhaust from the catalytic converter on back . I’ve stripped my exhaust like five times now lol I would love some more detail on how you achieve that look. I’ve tried the clear orange and smoke over alclad chrome but jus can’t seem to get a similar look . I’m sure you get tired of answering questions but any info would be much appreciated. Thanks for all your incredible work
Maybe you can try enamel based clear orange and clear smoke on chrome paint. Don’t need to add any thinner in them, it will keep chrome still shine as a chrome.
Beautiful build, can imagine someone undertaking a custom build and paint on one of these and receiving emails from Ferrari crying and moaning about it.

First, I have to thanks to you for watching my video. And about this kit, I’ll build FXXK soon and will add more working detail in the video for sure. Please follow my channel for that.
Love watching skilled people putting kits together and creating something amazing. Wanting to get back into it myself, but stressing too much to start as a kid, it was just fun, now it's... anxiety. I would like to know though, is there generally a big problem with seams? I have the feeling filling and sanding, especially, would ruin the finish of the plastic.
There are 6 position that you have to fill & sanding the seam line. 2 positions on each side of the door and another on back panel that a bit difficult to deal with. BTW. thanks for your visiting our channel.😉
@@OMGscaleworks Hey, thanks for sharing your work. Thanks for replying too. Without sounding cheesy, guys like you entertain, inform and most of all, inspire us. I feel guilty asking one more thing, but without having scoured the web for an answer, I'l try pushing your generosity. I wonder about sanding any fill. A couple of kits I bought (regretting) seem to have big fit and therefore seam issues judging by other video builders. If you fill in any area, you are always going to scratch up the perfectly smooth finishes adjacent to that seam, like the Ferrari. Sanding must damage the original finish on broad flat sections? Or is there a method to leave a fine finish with no visible scratching if you have to sand 'outside the lines' onto surrounding areas? Cheers.
I love a shiny red Ferrari lol. I hope to attempt my 1st model car kit this year. Plannong on doing a Nissan Skyline GTR-34. I want to paint it metallic red with gold wheels. Black interior with a carbon fiber hood and wing. Your build is absolutely stunning
@@OMGscaleworks we will see, lol. I'm just worried about getting that shine from the topcoat. Idk if I'll be able to do that, haha. Might go with a matte finish just to be safe
Lol, I was wondering why you was putting black decals on then I decided to look at your video on my tablet and now I see why my tv sucks lol awesome job
Hi, which airbrush are you using? It seems to be without nozzle cap, do you spray without? Also you buy paints s.n.p. on their facebook page? Thank you.
I use a normal airbrush 'HD-130' made in Taiwan. I think you can find it on every online shopping site. And I always remove the cap when spraying the paint to prevents the accumulation of paint mist in the cap and puts it back when finished.
Can you answer? I am very interested in understanding what type of clear 2K Glasurit you use and with what dilution with a 0.3 nozzle. It feels like you get a mirror finish with just one coat without having to polish. Thank you.
0.3mm nozzle maybe a bit harder to spray. I mostly use 0.5 for 2K clear and you can add about 5-10% thinner, it will easier to make a smooth coating surface.
@@OMGscaleworks You yourself wrote in your video that you use 0.3 with 2K clear Glasurit. Could you tell me what code the Glasurit you use has? It has an amazing mirror finish. Thank you

Would you consider doing some videos on some of your tips and tricks you use. Thank you for sharing such beautiful builds and I have subscribed.
Thanks for visiting my video and for your subbed! I did grey primer for checking some imperfection on the surface and white primer for brighten the red base coat above.
I'm very interested to know what you are using to "glue" the carbon decals, (if they are really decals) they seem really glued and not floppy so, I would like to know how to do it myself. By the way, insane work, always love your videos !
Thank you very much for watching my video. The solution I use for the decal is Mr.Color Mark Setter. It's not quite a glue but it helps the decal stick better to the plastic surface.
Thanks for your compliment ,for the glue I'm always use "Tamiya Craft Bond" for clear parts and also painted parts. It's maybe have a longer dry time but it won't ruin the paint and not effected to clear parts.
