Each sport has its physical punishment. AD, you have a success story without playing sports, and from the sounds of it, you're passionate about that, but what if that child could have a success story written his own way. I had a rough childhood, and football was my route out of it. I focused more in school because I knew I couldn't play if my grades weren't right. Went to college and did well there as well. But that's my story. I hope this parent finds the right path for her son.
