Woodcarving Kanji Signs | How to Make a Wooden Carved Sign with Kanji Characters

This is the process of creating a wooden carved sign with Kanji characters. It will stand beside an ancient stone statue of Jizo Bosatsu(Jizo Bosatsu is a Buddhist deity) in Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The meaning of these characters is Jizo Bosatsu who wards off illness.

Awesome work, wich wood did you use? I carve a sing with the name of my karate Dojo & I use pine wood & painted the kanji with black acrylic paint
