@alyssalundgren I don't think he's doing it to prove how deep his voice is. Consider how long they're touring/performing, his voice is simply gonna wear out and it's hard to match the high pitch of the studio version. It prolly took several takes to get the album version right; here, if he screws up, it's pretty noticeable, so he went the safe route.
check out local talent, or other acts,seek and you will find there is plenty of talent somewhere out there, if you take an attitude everything sucks your prophecy will be fulfilled
I see everyone agrees with me about how terrible the singer is live, it's good he didn't he try to hit those high notes, cuz when he does it just sounds like he trying to clear his throat, this one is decent, I guess he realized he can't hit those notes lol
