So this one with opf downpipe, i’m bout to get 2020 Rs3 and wanna go stage 1, would u recommend new downpipe replacement for better sound?

It had opf delete with catless downpipe. All depending on what's the end result you are looking for. Definitely if you'd like to open it up and hear how 5 cyl should sound like!

Is the exhaust fumes much noticeable being cat less?

If you go completely catless, yes. It won't be terrible but will definitely be noticeable
