Ahhhh yes! I had already known about them months prior but forgot I mentioned it to my mom and my mom had already bought them for me for Christmas! So perfect, they are just what I needed!!!

I left home in southern CA in 1978 when I graduated high school. I was just barely 17. All the good-byes with my mom over the years were hard. I moved out of CA with the military and never moved back. I really feel for you…both the joy of having your mom close and the sadness of having to say good-bye. I said good-bye to my mom for the last time at Christmas in 2006. Thank you for sharing your mom with us!

G'day Shayla. This vlog was amazing. You are amazing. In Australia we have 4-6 weeks a year off of work called Annual Leave. You don't have to take it all at once. You can scatter them throughout the year. I highly recommend you trying it. You could go see your mum and not have to work. Recharge your batteries! Have some uninterrupted mum time. This was just what I needed for a fresh start Shayla! So inspiring. I had a rocky start to the new year with Covid and pink eye 🫠 and feeling totally run down from my business, so gave myself the space to not feel like I needed to jump into a fresh start Jan 1, but am now feeling like I’m ready. Thank you so much for the digital vision board idea and tutorial- I was feeling the same way where I always do a physical board but just wasn’t feeling it this year, but am totally digging the digital one so thanks for the inspo!!!! And my heart literally skipped when I saw your “trust your intuition” piece because I had that in my head and heart going into this year as a big goal for myself. Happy 2023 🌈 This year i brain dumped a big goal list and then broke it down into things that were daily habits, and then made a list of all the big goals and broke them down into three month increments and made a list of action steps!

Shayla so much of this video resonated with me. I absolutely loved your Vlogmas and it made my day each day watching your video. I am so happy that your mom and you had such a wonderful Christmas together. ♥I tend to do seasonal goals sort of as my big picture. This year I am starting out with the 12 week year and doing my first set of goals for 12 weeks. I have jumped in to doing Whole30 (I've done two successful rounds previously) and also closing my Apple Watch Rings for the month of Jan. I just really needed to reset and was so ready for some healthy habits. I love your journal prompts and will be using them! You have to try GT's Synergy Pink Lady Apple, it is my fave kombucha flavor other than Humm Whole30 Elderberry. I have been drinking kombucha with dinner for since I did a round of Whole30 2 years ago. Also, bought some of the Magnesi-om that you take, but will have to wait until this round is over to try it. Feeling very inspired and empowered for 2023 and all it has to offer me. Thank you for all the love and inspiration you have shown me in 2022!

You should try sprinkling cinnamon on top of your matcha it’s taste so yummy. And I’m having a difficult time myself to reflect on 2022 because I didn’t journal it and I kinda forgot most of what happened in a year but I do remember the bad ones why ??? But my goal for 2023 is to REALLY journal for one whole year so I can really reflect. I’m forever grateful you came into my life . I’m like 10 years older but hey you can learn from a younger person and I already introduced your videos to both of my daughters and my 19 years like you ❤. So keep doing your things and always keeping it real. Happy New year and wishing you so many more girl ❤

Im so glad you showed you and your mom, and explaining your feelings surrounding that. I have divorced parents and they always lived within 10 minutes of eachother until covid when I had to go half a year before I could see my mom. Now that Im 18 Ive been having a hard time because I feel like I was cheated out of a lot of my childhood with my mom. I also am stressing about not being able to visit her as much and idk that clip of you being an adult and still struggling was very comforting. Im not alone.

Hi Shayla! I LOVE the idea of seasonal goal/intention setting :) this was such a great video, wondering if you use Zoom? I think it would be great if you hosted a group Zoom call at the start of each season to do goal setting, goal check-ins, etc. and maybe a little meditation and lesson from you on manifestation.. I would totally pay for that!! :D like a seasonal goal workshop and Zoom is a little more interactive :) just an idea :) xo
