I think Wu Minxia and Guo Jingjing were more elegant than Shi - Shi is super consistent and always delivers, which is amazing, but she's not as elegant as her predecessors. For example, I thought Wang Han's dives looked better at the olympics than Shi's even while scoring lower.
Kudos to the Olympic organizing team for making and posting this wonderful Women's 3m Diving winners history recollection for us to enjoy! Shi Tingmao just won again at the Tokyo Olympic this week, so the legend continues.

You see those kids playroom with Ball or foam pit with slides? They have something similar like that so they are not constantly diving headfirst into water.
