My trick is to do one panel at a time. After it sits a few minutes, I use a bug sponge to agitate it. That helps break the iron particles loose from the paint. You can then mist with a small amount to reactivate it. You don't want iron remover to dry on the surface.
I would solely use that on the wheels and only inside the rim barrels if you really wanted to go that far and take them off to do so. At least in doing so it would give you the perfect opportunity to deoxidize the rotors.
@@neatelitedetailing nope I do it all in one , since you working under shade nothing will dry you will have enough time to go around the entire car. I wet the car first making sure all that can come off comes off , then I spray it with iron decon then foam cannon on top with soap , instead of using a wash mitt I use the clay towel on the entire car , then spray it down and if you want you can wash it again regular. After that use a 1 step wax then use a ipa prep to remove all grease from the way off the entire car after that add your sealer let it cure and your done. Your car will be 💯 protected.
Adams is better and 10 dollars cheaper and it doesn't stink lol, just a fyi for those who are looking for something less expensive and just as expensive. When you buy chemical guys your paying for the cool looking packaging. I use a few of there products but it needs to be said that they love to sell the same products in multiple different names, they just change the color and give it a different name.
It works but you can get the same size bottle of Adams Iron Remover for 15 or 16 bucks instead of paying 27 dollars for the CG product, and it stinks lol
Wash vehicle Dry Spray iron remover in sections and use clay bar with additional iron spray for lube Spray vehicle with another coat letting it sit for 5min Wash vehicle again Dry Ceramic coat it

Awesome! Thanks for your input. Have you tried your method against other iron removers?
@@neatelitedetailing Yes. I find that some agitation helps remove the particles. Or, you can clay the surface with the iron remover on it.
Nice! I also sometimes use a clay bar w iron remover if I've already cleaned the vehicle beforehand. Great input!
I use Meguire's Ultimate Wheel Cleaner for iron removal on paint. I caught it on sale at Harbor Freight for $7.99 for a 24oz bottle.

I can tell you listen to heavy metal and love it. I muted the TV and played Creeping Death.
🤘 Excellent choice! Just saw them in concert! Good stuff!
I'm surprised they don't make a iron decon solution you can spray, let set, and rinse off with a hose sprayer or pressure washer dispenser.
Spray the car down , spray the irons decon , soap it and wash with a clay mitt then polish. Works for me
Thanks for the comment! Do you wash prior to using the clay mitt?

0:36 what's with the lable on the bottle, it's backwards?
Good catch! Using the front camera it causes the image to be mirrored = backward.

I imagine that 16 oz bottle was over 20 bucks I’ll stick with the turtle iron and wheel decon 35 bucks for a gallon on sale
I'll have to give that a try!!
Didn’t knew u can use it on paint too
Absolutely, and it works excellent!
Superior products sells a bottle that 20$ and it’s diluted half and half
I’m not a fan of chemical guys products. There too expensive and they only last one cleaning especially rim and tire cleaner
And always remember, if it’s too loud, you’re too old
Agreed!

The stink is real!!

Spray iron remover in sections and use clay bar with additional iron spray for lube
Spray vehicle with another coat letting it sit for 5min
Wash vehicle again

Ceramic coat it
I follow a different process. Do you polish as well?
All decons sprays stinks 😂
Absolutely! I don't know if it was the wind or what, but it seemed to have extra stink!
It’s acid, should wear protective gear😊
Thanks for the comment and concern! .We should wear protective gear with all chemicals. However, this product is pH neutral, thankfully.
