The whole dang band is making this a phenomenal experience 🌹
Dude, listen to his song “Side Door” from jam in the Van Austin TX..absolutely phenomenal 🙌🏼
Amen Brother. I was going to suggest Side Door.
This kid never disappoints just pure raw talent
One of my favorite things to do is to watch people react to Marcus King on UA-cam. Not sure whether that means I have no life or that MK is just that dang good! The latter, right? RIGHT?
I saw him open for Chris Stapleton in 2019. You need to see people react to him live.
@@SigRho1429 I saw him live for the first time in 2017 at a bar that fit about 150 people. You should have saw my reaction then!
@@totaldramalindsey I saw Chris Stapleton for the first time when he was playing a bluegrass festival in Kentucky with the SteelDrivers. You never seen so many shell shocked 70 and 80 year old people.
@@SigRho1429 I couldn’t imagine that. I was just watching an old clip of the Steeldrivers at the Opry. How did it take so long for Chris to blow up? Another good one - Jompson Bros playing The River at some festival. Unreal vocals.
@@totaldramalindsey If you want a song about a River…. Chris Knight’s “Down the River”. My all time favorite country/bluegrass/folk song.
Marcus has had a few good teachers that he has developed his style! Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Trey Anastasio, Eric Kranso, As well as the original Allman Brothers, and Toy Caldwell. Marcus is an AMAZING TALENT! First saw him when he was 16 or 17, and he killed it back then!!
Marcus King is amazing and he is so young. Born in 1996!!!!!
first time i heard theese guys , they checked all the boxes in the first 20 seconds. Outstanding.!
Feel that BASS!!
Trumpet and tambourine goin is crazy. Everyone so talented
Marcus King is the real doggone deal.
First time i heard Marcus King was playing at Normans guitar shop ,if you haven't heard heard that i suggest you look it up .The fella is a talent
YES!!!!!!!!!!!💙💙💙💙💙
Amazing. And can I just say thank you for creating this channel. ...
This channel makes me smile in my heart.
Means a lot! Thanks for the kindness!
All hail king Marcus 👑
Oh, and can I suggest a lesser-known MKB song? "Slip Back" is an absolute burner.
Dude sounds like Charles Bradley and Chris Stapleton had a music baby!! ❤❤❤
This is my jam!!
Marcus King (and his band) *need* a bigger spotlight. They're too good to go *this* unnoticed. Also, they say gingers don't have souls? C'mon, now... See exhibit A.
Edit: If you haven't, check out "If I Ever Get Around To Living" and "Born and Raised" by John Mayer. Born and Raised is John's most severely underrated album. In my opinion it's his best work from a songwriting standpoint.
"Best of the best" Yep.
best Ive ever heard
Excellence, Pure Excellence
Too too perfect..that tempo change!
Not sure how invested in vocals you might be, but if you’re fairly open to any musical journey, Bela Fleck’s “Big Country”, live, of course.
Check out Ian Noe "That kind of life"
