- Stardew Valley is indeed a massive game, and it will take you quite awhile to master the valley. I was watching a brand new player try out stardew and it most definitely motivated this video. These are the things I wish I knew, before I started playing sdv. Enjoy

I had to teach myself to stop caring. Caring too much about these things turns a great game into a job and it becomes a nuisance to me.
Yeah, I've just started the game, andvI'm having more fun just doing whatever I want. I watch some of these videos and think, "Thats a lot of work for a game that is supposed to be fun and stress relief."
Then why are you even watching this?
@@nighteclipse3488
A) Curiosity.
B) May learn something useful you could use to improve some aspects.
No need to be a workaholic to enjoy these videos.
Definitely true, I’ve done the exact same thing
Same. I get so anxious making sure I do everything on time and efficiently, but that's exactly what the game is supposed to be against. The whole story / backstory is to leave the fast pace environment behind and take things slow.
The inventory tip is spot on. I'm watching a LP and they take all of their tools everywhere. Then, they complain about not having inventory space!
Who’s series?
Lp??
"Lets play" @@kaitlin2019
A let’s play
I need almost all my tools with me except the watering can, I always do random things in between, chop some stumps, stones, till the ground a bit, the only one I wouldn't really need is the watering can 😭
The way you deliver the advice gave me flashbacks to my strict headmistress at private school 😂
I love how dramatically he explains stardew valley tips!
I hate to say it but it actually almost makes the video unwatchable to me and my girl, it feels so out of place and seems so forced and cringe. But it seems like some people find it funny
@@ownzies100 same! it feels like he's not having fun either.
Dude got me stressed out😂
Freaking debris ate half my honey farm on the Island over a season change.
Happened to me with horribly placed kegs on ginger island...
'click right mouse button' *meanwhile me playing stardew valley on my phone* hilarious 😂
If you ever need fish set up fish ponds on the farm with any fish you need for recipes, any fish with valuable roe or if you feel extremely lucky or use the predictor get special items
im a first time casual player and i honestly forget to only take the tools i need, and i didnt realize after you upgrade tools you need to hold down to get the effects...
(i play on xbox so im not surprised)
It shocked me how lucrative Melons and Pumpkins were, very valuable
With the field snack one, i always keep field snacks in my misc chest so if i pass out, i can eat them to get my energy back up
Now a word from our sponsor: Triple shot espresso
Playing for years and i just learned new stuff to try! Tyvm
Glad there was something new in this video
@@mGaud2 you speak with a manner similar to ffw
This man deserves more recognition than what he gets. Keep up the good work!
I’ve played the regular way but I’m having more fun by naming myself [857][279][446] so every time I talk to someone & they say my name I get [857]- tiger slime egg worth $8000, [279] - magic rock candy, & [446] - a rabbits foot that everyone loves except Penny. You can buy stone & wood at Robins & build a coop. Then name your chickens what you need like warp totem desert & [74] - prismatic shard. Get the galaxy sword! Playing the old way is boring now!
Test subject numbers 💀💀💀
Bro is the definition of tough love. Why he yelling at me???
these are all great tips but the delivery is so gd funny i love it
Man I wish I knew that about the legendary fish! I didn't know you could only catch one per save 😢
Sorry bro
I spend 2 days plotting my next cave run😂
The sas in this video is giving Edna Mode of Stardew
Too funny 😂
Very helpful too, thank you.
For what reason should someone not sell the legendary fish? Sure you can only get one per file, but if they don't do anything they're just taking up chest space for no reason. What can you do with them once they're caught?
You can buy a fish tank from Willy and display them in your house
Don’t rush me 😡
So great, love the seriousness 😂😂
when i first got a ancient seed i just kept it in my chest and forgot about it same for the prismatic shard
7:10 Four!! Four years! Excuse me!? 😌
I know the fruits don't have much value but if you use the fruit to sapling mod it is two times more valuable.
Your voice makes me want to play more!!
Nearly 250 hours into my permeant , maybe ; permeant , and i did not know that about the catalog.
I neeeeed a farm setup tour/tutorial it looks so well organized and appealing and I wanna try replicating it!
Follow these rules and your farm will design itself:
1. Highest value crops nearest your house
2. The less space you use the faster you can get your work done
3. Paths paths paths
Form follows function
I heard the accent and could tell you're from south Africa 😂 great tips 🎉
This video is both super helpful but also your voiceover is everything 😂
Video feels like it's from someone who's still relatively new. A lot of these tips are less and less accurate the more you understand the game.
As a ps4 person, L to those who have problems with picking the crab pots up 😭🙏 i cant even PICK THEM UP...
I dont understand why not to sell the legendary fish. They dont have any use, do they? Is it just for collection purposes? I dont really... care about keeping it as a collectible
I found the dramatic voice annoying at first, but the guy is blessing me with knowledge so I gave a like
I remember I accidentally lost my star fruit seeds by accidentally gifting them 😭
This game requires such a grinding
Amazing video
Your account is so good! Thank you!
No, Thank you!
i love the way you narrate hahahha
Hilarious and Persona music? 💯💯💯💯💯
I'm here cos a mate suggested the game. I've subbed cos the drama this dude puts in is worth it. Cheers. Ta
Joined like 11 days ago and already in year 3, been doing what the users on Reddit told me and chose the CC path than Joja, is there any way to get Gold Scythe back? accidentally put it on the Shipping Box when i was literally trying to put pumpkins before the winter, i was still using it- as in equiped the item and when i opened the Shipping Box and hastily transferred all the crops to the box, the Gold Scythe got inside it even though i did not even click it, since i always organize my inventory first before doing something so it wouldn't be a mess, its been 4 in-game days and im still wondering if its still obtainable even if it means in other ways before Summer.
No way to get it back. It's gone for good, atleast until the update maybe.
8:00 Me, who smoked all of the legendary fish i caught and then sold it:🗿
10:13 how did he planted cauliflowers and melons at the same time 🤔😂
Question… should you do the fruit cave or mushroom cave..?
Both are great. Mushroom cave mostly allows for not having to wait for Fall, or having to find mushroom floors in the mines to complete the community center. Fruit Cave makes it so you don’t have to buy fruit trees (which are very expensive, and take a long time to grow) to complete the CC. One other benefit for the Bat cave is that the fruit will pile up throughout days, whereas the mushroom cave has to be harvested each day for max profit. I pick the Fruit cave, but it’s really up to preference.
Fruit cave allows higher quality fruit from your foraging level. Mushroom cave shrooms are always normal quality. When I was playing much more casually, I got mushrooms for the consistency. Now that *I'm* more consistently productive, I play with the fruit cave for the chance of a tree fruit to jump me ahead in the Community Centre. But experts are no longer agreed on just one option, because...
Common Mushrooms can be turned into Fall Seeds to make lots of tea saplings easily. But that's after you are able to craft the Seed Maker at Farming Level 9, so it's more suited to a very farmy early playstyle. Oh yeah, and another benefit of Seed Makers is there is a small chance to get an Ancient Seed from anything, but you could always just do that with lots cranberries instead of the mushroom cave.
If your playstyle includes entering the Secret Woods early, then you already have decent access to mushrooms, so fruit cave might be better.
An answer if you care about profits and want to make money as fast as possible.
The mushroom cave provides mushrooms which is great for people who rush the level of mines.if u wanna unlock 120level faster pick the mushroom however after unlocked the mushroom effectiveness will start to drop and you’ll go to the mushroom cave less frequent.peole might say that the bat cave can help with the community center ,yes it can but the if you want the fruit required to be acquired is very hard, unless you have really great luck or change the code or the chances of getting every fruit in a faster time is hard.
While my friend yelled at me for not doing fruits, I always tend to do mushrooms for 3 reasons.
The first one is that when I did the bats, the fruits never spawned as often as the mushrooms did, unless they have a different spawn pattern. But with the mushrooms, you always get 6 mushrooms a day, guaranteed.
The second reason is that the most common mushrooms, the brown ones, are a very good means for food and energy. Each one being around 35 energy at a time. So it is a free source of energy. Maybe fruits are better but for me, mushrooms seem to do the trick.
Finally, not only do you need mushrooms for the community center, you can use them to make Elixirs of Life. While common mushrooms are good for early game, having an Elixir of Life farm can help you in later game moments, such as level 80-120 in the mines and the Skull Carverns.
This is just my opinion on it. At the end of the day, it depends on you and the playstyle you're more comfortable with.
With 1.6 update, you can now get tons of mushrooms without the cave by crafting mushroom logs. You just need to get moss and moss seeds during the green rain event. So you won't miss out if you pick the fruit cave.
I’m pissed because I can’t use sprinklers because I picked the beach farm
I vastly underestimated the usefulness of garden pots with deluxe retaining soil
I also enjoy how intensely this vampire talks about stardew
I tried to hear you say what floor the free torches are on. But i replayed it 15 times and i still have no idea what you said

this guy is so funny😂
If you pass out or have no health and no money the game will give you no penalty for it
👍
Slap like, if you think he sounds like Davie504!
U will have to wait an entire year! A year of playing the other parts of the game and having fun doesn’t feel long
After watching this video I was cured of ever wanting to touch "Stardew Valley" again. Thanks!
Fruit tree products are liked by everyone?
Me a mobile player knowing some op abilities are on pc
Cool
11:18 And can I do this on phone?
Yes,
Gotta remember that Y key.
Once you start using it, you'll never stop
Backseating is what people who don't understand the concept of entertainment do.
Otherwise fun video.
Im „new“ to Stardew, if this doesn’t give me any good tips, then I’m using emojis -.-
(I’ve binged too much content)
I didn’t do everything you did
Im a mobile player
Not sure if intentional but the tone feels very snarky
🎉🎉
Why are all of these videos for PC I don't have a PC I have a PS4
Your tips are fine but the way you delivered them is off-putting. Telling someone HOW to play this game, instead of guiding them, it comes off as “you cannot do things differently”

don’t accentuate every word so dramatically. it makes the atmosphere of the video feel like the opposite of what a stardew video should be.
You need to be humbled. Someone isn't going to change their entire way of speaking and creating content just because you don't like it. The world doesn't revolve around you.
Can I get a pin please?
I don't even need those tips but I just love the way you tell all this stuff
Okay but why do you speak like this
You have some pretty terrible tips. Terrible video 👍😀
