- This perfect miniature is from Deodat de Severac's collection "En vacances". The full title is "Où l'on entend une vielle boite à musique"
This performance was created, edited and mastered in Digital Performer 5.13 (MOTU) using Ivory sound banks (Synthogy)
please stop by Amazon (severac allarmunumralla) for my cd; Cerdaña, En Languedoc, Baigneuse, Faune indiscret
It is such a perfect recording in Stereo & clear frequencies! 👍😊👌
never heard of this guy before....what a little gem this is!
What a charming little piece of music! I had heard of Deodat de Severac because he finished Albeniz's "Navarra", but never heard much of his own music. I'll have to look into learning some of his music.
"The Return of the Muleteers" from the Cerdana Suite was moderately popular back in the 1940's, but hardly anyone knows of it today.
So soft yet very relaxing.
Reminds me of Kingdom Hearts Twilight Town Theme.

this just makes me think of alice and her adventures in wonderland :D
More kudos to you!
How do you "create" the music? Are you actually playing on keys? What are "Ivory sound banks"? I'm very curious. It's a charming sound.
Is it possible to get this partition please? I can't find it in french book stores
no problem:
