Next time you want to mask something like that, lay the tape on, give it a few light smacks with a rubber mallet, and peal off the outer edge of tape. Works flawlessly!

Thx mate, but it’s not hard stuff, just learnt the hard way by making plenty of mistakes
2nd part before the completion of a week guess the build is going well
Is the boxes of Ducati parts a V4 factory race kit? IE full exhaust, fairings, fuel cap, guards for levers, engine, chain etc?

Never painted wheels myself, but I think using earplugs to plug the bolt holes would work well. So no paint goes in the bolt holes, but you still paint the face of the area.

Can I ask how tall you are. I am 6'4 thinking of an RF but not sure if too tall.. also you hear alot about the gear boxes going or is that just talk

You talking about a preparation of wheels to be painted, how long did it take and then touching it with bare hand 🥴
Took several hours prep and pint then waited 12 hrs to handle

Delete the stupid charcoal canister and cut a bracket and mount the rectifier there.

@@oneL If it was me , i would of sold them as is for bank and painted a cast set would of funded huge part of the build , still enjoy your content though !
OMG what have you done to those beautiful forged anodised wheels, !!!! Painting them. Sorry you've ruined them. If you wanted a different colour you should of had them re anodised.. RUINED get your head looked at

@oneL what was horrible. We are all entitled to an opinion. You don't paint over hard anodised parts fact. Other than he's made them look terrible and made them heavier. Go figure. He'd have been better selling them for a good amount of ££££ and buying regular cast aprilia wheels for a fraction of the cost,
