Great video! I had 5 home births including delivering one breech. That would NOT have been possible at our hospital. I am so thankful for our midwife. 💕And so far, all of our grandchildren have been born at home!

Mostly I didn't want a home birth because I didn't want the mess in my house and it was always nice to have the baby go to the nursery when I needed to rest. The only reason I'd consider having a home birth is because my labors are fast and furious and I was always nervous about making it to the hospital on time.
Very true, dad or other support people are definitely your only option when you need rest! Not deciding when to leave for the hospital is a very nice perk, although, deciding when to have the midwives come was my dilemma haha

My midwife has it as part of the contract that they happily clean your house, do your laundry, do your dishes, clean your tub, etc.
