In 2020 I had a total hip replacement. In the first 6 months the joint was sublexing (popping in and out of joint). I worked hard on strengthening the hip and it quit, but, it still feels like it could do it again. It clicks when I walk in the morning mostly. But it has not done it as of today. In November of 2023, I had a laminecty, discectomy and fusion at L2-L3. I am also fused from L2 to S1. I felt great , pain free first time in years. Did 8 weeks ofPT and began walking every other day and about a month ago my hip and knee started hurting. I can’t go up stairs now, I can’t sleep on the side I had the hip replacement, I’m a mess…again! Hip surgeon wants me to do PT. I JUST GOT FINISHED WITH 8 WEEKS OF PT I’ve been walking, continuing with hip and back exercises. I want a steroid injection, not more PT! What’s your thoughts? Thanks, if you respond.
