If I were buying my 360x tomorrow this is an obvious purchase but are there any benefits to this over the existing spectral controller I already run?

Yeah you dont have to be beside your tank to adjust the light or lights. That's kinda a giving I would think lol.

@@rhodes484 well, I haven't "adjusted" my lights in over 9 months. I was just wondering if there were any actual benefit ie. more finite tuning over the base controller or possibly more than 1 unusable pre-programmed schedule to run. I got mine when it first came out and it took me weeks to set it up properly. Once done you should never have to touch it again.

imsatanscott I’d say the app is going to do exactly what the controller will do. Just over WiFi.
