Great video. Simple and no non sense. I have a question related to that subject though. Can you apply these directions when making a sport short or tracksuit pants? Don't you have to make tighter? And in case of regular incased elastic (sorry but I like to make casing myself, find it neater ;) ) id there a rule of thumb, a percentage of reduction when cutting the elastic length? Like Waist size of the garment - 10%? or 15%? so it still tight on the waist despite the thickness of the fabric? So much questions, I'm sorry :) Keep the good work.
Hey, Judy, do you know the name of and/or have a resource for the type of draw-cord elastic that has maybe 5 cords and is very flat and delicate (by comparison to this athletic stuff)? I loved it and can't find it anywhere - you sew it in flat and it's PERFECTLY customizable because of the way the adjustment is done. No broken sewing machine needles, no stress on your machine, either. Thanks.
