The first recipe we're going to show you today is our copycat Wendy's Chili. If you've ever been to Wendy's, this is one of the most popular menu items, it's been on their menu for years!
The second freezer meal we're making is our sausage and peppers. This is perfect if you're looking for lower carb meal.
Our last freezer meal that we're going to be making is the lemon pepper chicken.

Now, I am in middle of moving and I proudly have 6 freezer meals...and I am going to add this one. Meaning as i get acclimated to the new house ..i won't be stressed by the most stressful question Moms hear every day" what's for dinner?"
You are so relatable...kids showing up in the kitchen...eye measuring stuffs...using the stuffs we can easily grab at Walmart or Kroger. I mean on some channel people teach recipe with French names...with complicated steps...with ingredients we have not heard of....

I always make a full crock pot of chili when I make it. I divide it up after cooking and freeze it or I throw some rice in and make burritos. Yummy either way. 🙂❤️

I just put chili in my slow cooker, and saw this video right after. But it works out, because we make our chili the exact same way, lol. The only difference I did was use crushed tomatoes, so I could have a thicker sauce, and we like jalapenos cut in. Thanks for the tips!

Hi, do you think the 4-servings chili would feed 2 adults and 2 teenage boys that are hungry all the time or would I need the whole recipe for them? I’m going to do some freezer meals for Christmas presents.
I would do the whole recipe.
I’d do the whole recipe, too, and just set aside about 1/4 of it when it’s done. Then you’ll be sure to have enough for a chili dinner and then chili cheese dogs for lunch or dinner in the next day or so. That way you’ll still get two meals. Or, if you don’t like chili dogs, you could do breakfast for dinner and make omelets with a spoon of chili, a dollop of sour cream, some shredded cheese, etc on top or folded inside.
Personally, I would do the whole recipe. Save it, freeze it, and use it for another night if you dont finish the entire thing!
Just curious - as I am in Australia and another group I follow here, always say never to cook meal from frozen in the slow cooker because of the time it takes for the slow cooker to heat up.
Can you clarify that it is okay to cook from frozen in the slow cooker as I have always been told its not - as the meals on here look amazing, and can't wait to do all of them.
Good question and YES you are allowed to cook frozen foods in the slow cooker! Just make sure you have the right temperature and time!

If I want to put it in the refrigerator overnight. What temp and how long would I cook it in the slow cooker? I am afraid to cook it from frozen. Been told that it is not safe.

on the Wendy's copycat chili recipe, you used 3 cans of stewed tomatoes and split the one can and also 1 can of the Rotel diced tomatoes and split it, instead of doing that could you use 1 can of stewed and 1 can of diced per recipe and have it fairly similar?

I wish you would give the instructions for making it in the Instant Pot instead of the slow cooker. I got rid of my slow cooker when I bought my Instant Pot.

This is probably a stupid question. Do you put the plastic bag in the slow cooker or cut it off and just put the frozen ingredients in?
Just the ingredients that are frozen. NO Plastic bag. And there are no stupid questions.
Have you thought of using the crockpot liners? And you have not given instant pot directions.
Crock pot liners are amazing! We use them often.
