I've been playing around with a guitar for over thirty years and I never once played that badly. And, until now, I don't think I've have ever felt so good about my own musical skills. Evidently, I Rock!
I laughed so hard I threw up, and I’m totally okay with that. I always say I support every musician willing to take the state but dang; number 3; exorcist pea soup would be coming out of my nose sitting live at that concert. I’m sorry I wouldn’t be able to control it. As soon as that one dude started laughing in the crowd, done. The hope and dream is over at keeping any composure.
Number 4 is "Nothing Came Out" by Moldy Peaches - the overdubbed double solo on the album is even better. As someone already commented on here, it is a classic.
Takes some nuts to tackle what's generally considered one of the all-time best guitar solos and then make such an irredeemable muck of it. And every member of that band was playing awful.
So, uh, these are obviously fake, satirical videos, like a lot of others out there ('shred videos'). Am I missing a second level of the joke where everyone comments as if these had the actual audio?
That first one isn't bad. Behold...The Arctopus is a form of jazz, meaning improvisation takes place on leads often. They are actually a very badass band doing what they do with only 3 people (the drummer isn't in that video.)
Simeey These are the same fuckers who preferred Lil' Wayne's playing over Yngwie Malmsteen because he has "feeling" in his guitar playing. Really? You're either trolling or you're just that stupid.
The dude at number three just seemed like he had just started playing and he made a band with his friends... the only thing he needs is a few lessons... the vocalist on the other hand... yikes. As for the number two spot... everyone in the audience through up their hands and said "Never mind!"
As far as thing Pink Floyd cover goes its truly astonishing to me how far people can take a hobby, to the point of playing on a stage plugged in and mic'd up in front of an audience but still have never learned the basics, or put any effort in.

Watched it three times - laughed harder each time
00:36 the camera guy inspected this dude like he was from another planet. The last couple seconds lmao.
Also that's The Moldy Peaches and that solo kind of slaps.
I've been playing around with a guitar for over thirty years and I never once played that badly. And, until now, I don't think I've have ever felt so good about my own musical skills.
Evidently, I Rock!
The fact is that those "worst" guitar solo are really hard to play for most so its just horrible in sound but to play must be absolutely terrorical
I just finished playing Comfortably Numb (the second solo) and then saw this. This is sad. This hurts.
No one’s talking about what on earth instrument that is on the left in clip Number 5 💀
"How do I make it say niggah?"
So, #4 could be polished and turn into an amazing piece
Number 4 is "Nothing Came Out" by Moldy Peaches - the overdubbed double solo on the album is even better. As someone already commented on here, it is a classic.
Ive been looking for that song forever man. Thanks
Gracias lo buscaba de años esta canción
I like the way the Comfortably Numb guy thoughtfully switches off the boost button at the end of his "solo." Gotta make sonic room for that vocalist!
idk what's worse, the solo on number 4 or the outfit.
Enlo Marco my fave
They should be Shot on site. For trying to sing Comfortably Numb and that god awful solo. Please don't try that again.
I think those guys were fucking drunk. That was horrible.
It wasn't only a bad guitar solo, the whole band is horrible.
I honestly think it's the first time they ever played anything ever.
Takes some nuts to tackle what's generally considered one of the all-time best guitar solos and then make such an irredeemable muck of it. And every member of that band was playing awful.
barrettproduction AaAaA have become comfortably dumb dinga dinga ding
it causes me internal bleeding that they have fender, gibson and i dont even have money to buy even a cheap acoustic guitar.
For anyone that wants to play like lil Wayne his guitar is tuned to F-A-G-G-O-T
The guy has a daughter so doubtful.
Being gay and terrible at guitar is two very different things. Checkout Prince's guitar-solo's for an illustration.
A joke that aged like the finest of milks.
Wow! The confidence it must take to perform that badly in front of that many people and continue on. I envy those guys playing comfortably numb.
5 isn't bad, its just experimental and strange.
Yea I agree
Hidious Vanity If you're talking about experimental and strange I would say 4 is absolutely better than 5
Hidious Vanity The group is called Psyopus if your interested.
Hidious Vanity I would say it may be experimental and strange, but you can hear lots of messups and bad sounds that could be improved upon.
Glenn Mendoza Actually it's Behold... The Arctopus. Very technical metal band.
The ride cymbal stole the show during comfortably numb.
And that's how Jazz was born.
He picks light so he don't piss the sound off!
1:30 Comfortably Numb Shitar solo...
Q: Anybody Got Tabs for any of these remarkable Shitar Solos?
They covered comfortably numb. With six feet of dirt
mike lerner? more like MIKE LERNER TO PLAY FUCKING GUITAR!
Ohhhhhh
He plays like a lerner
I was literally thinking the same thing and was about to post the same comment, no lie, lol
I feel so much better about my guitar skills after watching this. Thank you!
damn the butchering of comfortably numb. At the point i would of just ran random pentatonic licks
I’m willing to bet the guitarist and bassist don’t know any pentatonic licks..
@@patrickmurphy9186 they also seem to have no concept of key nor time.
So, uh, these are obviously fake, satirical videos, like a lot of others out there ('shred videos'). Am I missing a second level of the joke where everyone comments as if these had the actual audio?
I played this in front of my dog. Dog hates me now.
thats why i dont shred mindlessly
Comfortably Numb (number 3) - incredible! One of the most unmusical things I've ever heard.
The two guys at 0:20 sound like Beavis and Butthead
I had to go to the Emergency Room after the Comfortably Numb bit. That was excruciating.
That first one isn't bad. Behold...The Arctopus is a form of jazz, meaning improvisation takes place on leads often. They are actually a very badass band doing what they do with only 3 people (the drummer isn't in that video.)
I cannot believe that some people said Lil Wayne is better then Kirk hammett *FacePalm*
Obvious trolling is obvious... :)
Lil wayne couldnt play guitar to save his life
***** No some of the rap fans are actually serious about it as they have no idea about guitar. .__.
Simeey These are the same fuckers who preferred Lil' Wayne's playing over Yngwie Malmsteen because he has "feeling" in his guitar playing. Really? You're either trolling or you're just that stupid.
Bryan Reyna Ayt stfu, dont want to start argument with you.
4 could be good, I think he somehow forgot his effects (maybe)
Phrasing is everything.
I think #3 was intentional if I remember right. Bass Player looking to see if he hit the right note 1:35
Wow... that's inspiring... maybe i'm not so bad after all. Yay!
Not even the Flying Spaghetti Monster (our lord and savior) would approve of the amount of noodling taking place here.
Wassup my nigga
I have never touched a guitar in my life but i'm pretty sure that i can do whatever it was that Lil Wayne was doing.
I’ve played guitar my whole life and I can confirm, yes you can
5: Bad but not terrible
4: Nice hair, bad fingers
3: Ok WTF
2: Is that even a solo?
1: Guitar god skill level
I was gonna say I could do worse but then those guys pretending to play Comfortably Numb came on and I decided I couldn't. lol
The dude at number three just seemed like he had just started playing and he made a band with his friends... the only thing he needs is a few lessons... the vocalist on the other hand... yikes. As for the number two spot... everyone in the audience through up their hands and said "Never mind!"
I actually love number 4, its like some velvet underground noise rock shit
It sounds like they are covering "blinded by the light" (solo)
Comfortably Numb.....describes all of these guy's fingers.
I dig the number 4 solo. Confessions it fits the song better than the actual solo
what is the name of the song and or band?
Number 3 needs more cowbell...
hearing him screw up pink floyd was painful
As far as thing Pink Floyd cover goes its truly astonishing to me how far people can take a hobby, to the point of playing on a stage plugged in and mic'd up in front of an audience but still have never learned the basics, or put any effort in.
This is the first time in my life I've ever thought, "Fred Durst was the best"
