I am a framer at Michaels and I will say that your prices seem about equal to ours or possibly even lower.
Besides that though, thank you for the video. The bit about the outer mat being more of a background color really helped something click for me in regards to the design. We don’t have a very wide selection of frames or mats here, so it is difficult to make good designs out of what we have, but I feel that bit will really help me make the best out of some of our more neutral and lower saturation mats.
I hope the art and framing school is working out! Collab spaces are wonderful and those who host them are even more so.
