    A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his UA-cam channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

"Not allowed to drive a boat in the state of FL anymore" lol!
The topics you choose for your lessons get down to the nuts and bolts, and your personality is addicting. :)
Also, thank you for doing COUNTS instead of "down up down up". It's a huge help mentally (makes strumming make sense) and after listening to you, I cringe at other tutorials out there that use down up. It's bothersome that they don't teach counts.

Hi Sean, I really like that you are still doing basic strumming lessons after many years of having a channel. It is kind of difficult to find good/interesting strumming lessons. Most lessons focus on the fretting hand. It does feel like you focus on exactly what I need. Thanks for the help, Sean.

Great lesson Sean, especially on the counting. This may sound stupid but the thing I find hardest to conceptualise is being aware of NOT producing a sound and it still counting as a beat or an 'and', it feels like I'm not doing anything, even though I know I am doing something within the rhythm of the strum. This lesson has been a great help, thanks.

I’ve come so far as a player through watching your channel Sean. I’m sure there are lucrative gains to be made from your platform but I always get the impression you’re really passionate about teaching and it’s great for us learners. You are the shepherd, we are the sheep and we shall always follow.

Thank you Sean🎉 I sure 😃 enjoy the pain of repairing my guitar strumming after taking on water and sinking to new lows repeatedly over the past fifty or so years of thinking 🤔 maybe I could just be satisfied looking at guitars from a distance 😮 like watching beautiful boats bobbing on waves from a distance ❤ Today, I will cast off the lines and set sail 😅 for new horizons a count 1&2&3,4 and get to my destination in time. 😂 And when the passengers ask "how long will it take?" 😢 I will answer "as long as it takes!" 😊
    You're a great Captain 🎉
Elixer strings, I've seen them. Now, I will buy them. You sold me with your beautiful personality. Thank you, for being like a beautiful sunset. And I'll look forward to meeting you one-day on that beautiful sonrise ❤ Don't be late!

I've felt unmoored since embarking on guitar, so thanks for the basic skill breakdown. Maybe you could produce a similarly targeted video weekly? BTW you mentioned four notes to the bar, but given the down-down-down-up-down-up lesson it might help some people to understand the rhythm in terms of eighth notes. Anyway, a much appreciated lesson.
