  • This one is a little trickier than the Wye/Star config, but nothing we can't handle right? Remember to go back and watch the videos on Vector Addition. It will help immensely when adding currents out of phase.

    Good job! Clear presentation explaining phase current using components help me understanding relationship between line current and phase current.

    Good video! Just to remind you that you can't use root 3 if they are different amperages. So this is handy for that!

    Can you explain how you get 240 volts with a 2 pole breaker in a 120/240 delta with a 208 high leg service?

    Could you explain why have to multiply by tangent of 60 or root of 3 to obtain the potencial difference between phases on 3 phase system, thanks

    Hi, can we still use the same procedure in case currents magnitude and the 120 degree phase shift between legs are not maintained.

    What stops the current from splitting and going down two different phases?

    @6:47 how is -10*cos(120) = -5 when cos(120) is -0.5??

      You are right. This error cancels with the error at 6:54, where the video says 10cos(240°)=5.
