This is very educational and one of the best videos that really explained this topic
Wow, it's so awesome bro! I'm watching this video from Central Asia, from Uzbekistan. This is so easy to understand. Thank you a lot bro.
Detailed explanation yet easy to understand 💯💯💯.
Also ,can you tell us which program do you use to sketch the animation in the video.
Thank you sir
But excuse me
To calculate the current with ohms law in delta don't we have to calculate the total resistance for the coils which i think its in parallel and series? ❤
Since this is a 3 phase line, we need to introduce conditions during calculations with Ohms law.
So we can apply Ohms law for the conditioned part only.
For an example, we apply Ohms law to one coil of 400 volts on the Delta connected coil set, when Yellow line is delivering zero current.
At that point, other two coils are with zero current flow.
Thank you.
Is it the explanation rules for amperes for DC motors or AC motors? I think there is difference. (It is not my video to talk).
Your question is not specific.
I guess it is about ohms law.
Ohm's Law applies in three-phase systems as well, but you must account for the relationships between line and phase voltages and currents, depending on whether the system is configured in star or delta.
Sir motor star delta winding resistance how to measure plz tel me sir
Ok. Please follow these steps.
Star Winding Resistance Measurement:
In the star configuration, the winding resistances are measured between phase terminals.
Step 1: Label or note down the three-phase terminals: A, B, and C.
Step 2: Set your multimeter to resistance (Ω) mode.
Step 3: Measure the resistance between: A and B, B and C & A and C.
The resistance between these pairs should be equal for a balanced winding.
The measured resistance is the sum of two windings in series.
So, to find out resistance in one coil, divide the measured resistance by 2.
2. Delta Winding Resistance Measurement:
In delta configuration, the windings are connected in a closed-loop. The measurement method is similar to the star connection.
Step 1: Identify the three-phase terminals (A, B, and C) and ensure the motor is in delta connection.
Step 2: Measure the resistance between: A and B, B and C & A and C.
As with the star connection, the resistance between each pair should be roughly equal.
These three readings directly represent resistance of the three coils.
