Knitting and watching the Mariners is my ideal state of being! That Julio HRD was epic! I was watching from home and going crazy haha Also - loving this red era! I think a red sweater is in my future. Lastly (too much to say lol) - I’m volunteering at flock on Sunday! Yay! Im so excited to be a part of it and will be going Saturday as well! Thanks for all the hard work your team is putting into it!
Hi Emily! I was also obsessed with the Tour. Such amazing competition, but I also really loved hearing about the France country side and the bits of historic buildings etc along the way 😊
Glad you're feeling better! I love your handspun sock so much, and I can't wait to see what it's pal looks like knit up. I'm also team knit-the-mini-mock-neck -- I love mine so much, and also it can double as a vest so it's technically fall appropriate 😏💕💖
I have a plan for an EFK fade with morning ritual and Grand Canyon too!! So fun! I love their variegated yarns even though I’m not a big variegated yarn person either.
Great podcast, Emily! I love your Tolsta and am currently plotting what color(s) I want to add to what I already have. I'm totally torn between continuing the summer knits and moving on to fall, but I'm in Southern Maryland, so it's hot and humid and can stay this way until late October. Decisions, decisions!
Your handspun is stunning!! I had to smile a bit when you talked about how you spiralled into this Tour de France obsession. My brother has been obsessed with it since we were teenagers, and he’d always put it on, so seeing it now brings so much nostalgia for me.
I love your tolasta tee. Did you carry the contrasting yarn throughout the garment? I'm having troubles making the stripes look neat by the raglan and carrying it on the wrong side without cutting the yarn. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance🥰
Thank you!! I did carry it up on the inside. The only tips I would say is to make sure you give it enough slack so the yarn on the inside isn't tugging your stitches, and to wrap your yarns around each other (similar to how you would with intarsia) when you change colors. Good luck!

I might not be able to resist knitting the mini-mock-neck... we'll see if I have a spontaneous cast-on this week!!
Gorgeous handspun
Thanks, Marsha!!

I really love your Tolsta Tee! I've kind of been on the fence about knitting it, but after seeing your version I want to make one now! 😍
Thank you so much, this is such a compliment!!
I'm going to do a Lento in the boucle I got from EKF summer market - match with me 😛
Knit the mini mock neck !!! It’s such a good pattern and goes so quick
