Hey man , I have a mark V and I have heard good things about the vtwin pedal to get that recto sounds. Using this pre-amp or the pedal as a preamp and plugging it straight into the mark v return would that sound any good ?
Sure it would sound good! The mark iv is already a bad ass! That combo will get the Rec tone! You'll have to roll the gain back a lot to get that right sound on the v twins fyi. At least I do and im ruining mine straight into a power amp.
