I’ve been watching you guys for about five or six years now. My wife passed away suddenly on Christmas of 2017. I sold my townhome and after a couple of moves, bought a doublewide in a small town after seeing what you guys do to them. I have zero regrets.

I don't know why people who don't lift a finger have no trouble telling you how to run your life. You work so hard and alternating projects is very good for motivation. Keep doing you. Relatively speaking, you were recently at the mobile home, it hasn't been that long. I can't believe how much you already have done to the storage house. It's going to look fantastic when it matches the house.

Paneling is a love hate thing lol. My last house was mostly paneled. I don’t mind a mix of textures. Since this isn’t the house it’s cheaper not to replace it and it still looks good wears well too. I just come to see what’s new. I’ve gotten some good ideas too. Doug and Ashley never disappoint and the kids are the icing on the cake. I love Sam and Angela

A place for tools first. Makes other jobs easyer when tools are organized. So many people put things on credit and is able to get it done faster. That credit card makes things cost double and in the long run, will ruin them. People are not used to buying as you go. A wise man stays out of debt. keep doing it the way you're doing it. We are not wise then. Don't think that we do this all debt free... far from it. We have a large amount of debt. There is no way we could afford everything we accomplish without taking debt. Sometimes it gets out of control and we have to take breaks to pay it down. We can't afford all of these building materials and tool organizers and the new building! But we do the best we can and hope it all works out.

I agree with your thoughts on mobile homes. I enjoy watching your building projects. We bought ours 6, years ago. Paid cash, land included. Like you, We have been fixing it up one project at a time. If we didn't get this mobile home we would have burned thru our money and we would be homeless homeless right now. We are on a fixed income, retired.

It never cease to amaze me that you have to explain yourself to people. If they would watch and listen they would understand the process. My grandma always said that you can't learn anything with your mouth running. In this case it's your fingers itching to type questions that if you would just relax and listen and enjoy this wonderful family. If you just did that, watch the amazing things they do and how well they work together, you wouldn't have to send nasty grams and demand to know why they did this instead of doing what you wanted them to do. We love you and your choices are yours and we are here for it! I didn’t see the mess, you must have set up the camera to avoid it so well. Not having an out building is not good! You have to store all your building materials, tools and hobby equipment somewhere. I have been wondering for years where you keep all your possessions without the benefit of a pole barn or garage. I’m glad you found this trailer and that you are going to make it work for you. I still think a nice work shop is what you need, to put your mower, tractor and digger in storage, so the sun doesn’t cook the hoses and wires are not out in the elements would be good. It would also serve as a place to work on cars not out in the sand and grass. I hope your channel grows and you can afford this building you need. God bless you all. ❤
I think you guys are doing awesome! You're working on what needs worked on, when it needs work done, with funds you have available. There is nothing better than being able to do a project that is 100% paid for at the time of doing the project so you don't have to bring in more bills or even worse credit card debt
Hi Eevee and Doug, I can’t believe people are giving you a hard time. Buying and doing up the storage space is interesting and will make your life so much easier. Maybe some people don’t understand the concept of saving money to do certain jobs. Doing DIY is not cheap, so it’s understandable you need to save up. You have finished so many projects and consistently put out new video’s. You are hardworking and genuine. It must get frustrating when you have negative comments. I appreciate all your hard work.

From the perspective of a longtime fan/member of the show everything you do is fantastic. Yes, I learn how to do things on some level but what I really enjoy the most is the creativity and problem solving on each project that you tackle. You're always calm and positive working out the logic behind each process. That I can apply to my own projects. Please never rush! What if you got done with everything? The channel would end! We ARE in debt. That's the problem. We're not trying to give the wrong impression that we are one of these debt-free channels with loads of cash to do whatever they want. We are just living regular lives and trying to keep everything going. We just try to not let our debts get too out of control.

Seems to me this mobile home/outbuilding is the most important project. Working with many materials with absolutely no place to put anything is a real pain. And it’s such a relief to have a protected space for expensive materials. Good job you two 👍🏻
I just thought it was the logical thing to do after the trailer was damaged. My father was a contractor for a time and I’m familiar with needing to juggle jobs and priorities around as circumstances change. I’m surprised at how many people don’t seem to have any experience or skill in managing how jobs are done. I like the way you pivoted and started this new project to solve your storage needs and keep your income flowing in. It doesn’t mean your lazy and is certainly not indicative of being unorganized but showed you are flexible and able to respond successfully to any of the curveballs life throws at you I think losing the trailer was something of an opportunity for your family and your channel. I’m enjoying the adventure. Keep up the good work. 👍

I will watch anything you post! I love every project and actually don’t think much about the other projects when you move onto something new. We live on property and things change all the time that will change how or when a project is completed.

Do you remember when you removed window? Didn't it have a piece of metal over top of it sorta like an eave. Maybe that is problem with seal. Yes, the window had a drip cap over it and the window was actually tucked under the siding at the top. We are installing them a little different because we have a different idea for above the window.

We love you and your choices are yours and we are here for it! I didn’t see the mess, you must have set up the camera to avoid it so well. Not having an out building is not good! You have to store all your building materials, tools and hobby equipment somewhere. I have been wondering for years where you keep all your possessions without the benefit of a pole barn or garage. I’m glad you found this trailer and that you are going to make it work for you. I still think a nice work shop is what you need, to put your mower, tractor and digger in storage, so the sun doesn’t cook the hoses and wires are not out in the elements would be good. It would also serve as a place to work on cars not out in the sand and grass. I hope your channel grows and you can afford this building you need. God bless you all. ❤
I think you guys are doing awesome! You're working on what needs worked on, when it needs work done, with funds you have available. There is nothing better than being able to do a project that is 100% paid for at the time of doing the project so you don't have to bring in more bills or even worse credit card debt

Hi Eevee and Doug, I can’t believe people are giving you a hard time. Buying and doing up the storage space is interesting and will make your life so much easier. Maybe some people don’t understand the concept of saving money to do certain jobs. Doing DIY is not cheap, so it’s understandable you need to save up. You have finished so many projects and consistently put out new video’s. You are hardworking and genuine. It must get frustrating when you have negative comments. I appreciate all your hard work.

From the perspective of a longtime fan/member of the show everything you do is fantastic. Yes, I learn how to do things on some level but what I really enjoy the most is the creativity and problem solving on each project that you tackle. You're always calm and positive working out the logic behind each process. That I can apply to my own projects. Please never rush! What if you got done with everything? The channel would end! I look forward to each "episode" like I did with afternoon programs as a kid. Oh look, there's a new video from Doug & Eevee(sp?) and family! After a long workday there's nothing better. I don't care what it's about just that it is. Do what you do please.

You are doing the right thing, you are taking your time doing it as you can afford it and not going into debt.
We ARE in debt. That's the problem. We're not trying to give the wrong impression that we are one of these debt-free channels with loads of cash to do whatever they want. We are just living regular lives and trying to keep everything going. We just try to not let our debts get too out of control.

Seems to me this mobile home/outbuilding is the most important project. Working with many materials with absolutely no place to put anything is a real pain. And it’s such a relief to have a protected space for expensive materials. Good job you two 👍🏻

I just thought it was the logical thing to do after the trailer was damaged. My father was a contractor for a time and I’m familiar with needing to juggle jobs and priorities around as circumstances change.
I’m surprised at how many people don’t seem to have any experience or skill in managing how jobs are done.
I like the way you pivoted and started this new project to solve your storage needs and keep your income flowing in.
It doesn’t mean your lazy and is certainly not indicative of being unorganized but showed you are flexible and able to respond successfully to any of the curveballs life throws at you
I think losing the trailer was something of an opportunity for your family and your channel.

I will watch anything you post! I love every project and actually don’t think much about the other projects when you move onto something new. We live on property and things change all the time that will change how or when a project is completed.

Do you remember when you removed window? Didn't it have a piece of metal over top of it sorta like an eave. Maybe that is problem with seal. Yes, the window had a drip cap over it and the window was actually tucked under the siding at the top. We are installing them a little different because we have a different idea for above the window.
