- I recently hosted a pool cleaning equipment webinar on Skype for the group members. Here is the edited webinar with slides and video clips for you. Glen, the creator of the Bottom Feeder dropped in and spent some time talking about the Bottom Feeder and future updates! I cover everything from your leaf rake to vacuum systems in this talk.
I am in a unique position where I started doing weekly pool service back in 1988 and from this point have used various pool nets, poles, and cleaning equipment so I have become a default expert in what I consider to be the best equipment.
Here is a summary of the cleaning equipment I like. You can find most of these at your local pool store or wholesale supplier but here are some links to them and manufacturer websites for quick reference.

I had to stop using the Riptide for awhile because I hurt my back using it. Thankfully i had a Bottom Feeder. We had winds yesterday & I’ve been off for 14 days…used my BF at least 12 times today.
Any pool company can benefit from the BF. I do more “one trips” with it like Glen mentioned.

Have you used the power vac? Which do u prefer? Does bottom feeder run as long as power vac? Thanks and take care
for Batteries i use a 50AH LITHIUM, weight is about 15lbs comes with a 7year warranty and come with an APP for battery percentage and other stats such as current out power, times fully charge, battery temperature and more. This is for my riptide, 2 years now and going strong.
Hi, I live in Tampa and wanted to find the best fine net to use for the screen in pools. Which one would you suggest.
Purity pools has a very good one. Very long lasting and you can also skim the bottom with it with a little effort. Purity Pro-Lite with Silt Bag
Do you recommend the perfect weekly ad Leslie pool supplies?
It is an effective way to prevent algae and allow for less chlorine use. You just need to do the math and see if purchasing a bottle is worth it on savings on chlorine and algaecide.
@@SPL I did buy some but haven’t used it you because I’m considering using borax. Do you recommend I just use borax and not use the perfect weekly
How long does the bottom feeder last? How many regular residential pools (quick clean) can u expect to bang out with this thing?
You can vacuum more pools than you think. Since you just turn it on and drop it in and it is very maneuverable you can vacuum a 14,000 pool in 5 minutes. 20,000 gallon in 8 minutes. So the 2.5 hour battery time seems low but it really isn't. If that helps.

I do 20 pools a day with mine with some battery to spare. 10-15k gallon pools. Most of mine stay fairly clean though. It's a game changer rather than a cart
Whats the best way to sell a pool route without using a pool broker? Or is it not worth doing by yourself.
There is an app called the PoolTrader. You can try that.
