Hence, the net amount of positive charges that are required to generate the spike at the next point are not available. This is the result of increased temperature, in MS. Already the conduction is barely possible in MS. The symptoms of conduction block will appear with increased temperature.

Diagnosis can be clinical, by observing the signs and symptoms. Detection of antibodies to oligodendrocyte is also possible.
