I was searching throughout the Medina here in Rabat for something that would provide a nice and relaxing restaurant experience; something more than street food, good atmosphere with amazing food and perfect for the budget traveler. And let me just say...I found it all in one location at Chez L'haja! This is a must-try location!

Totally figured out the idea behind posting this refreshing video to put a smile in our face, thanks i appreciate, Just one thing, "Chez" is a french word, we don't pronounce the Z, so you pronounce it "Ché l Hajja", which means "at l Hajja place".

Yes, she is an amazing, hardworking woman who has certainly built a reputable establishment. This is TRULY a must-try restaurant here in Rabat.

Hey Terry how is everything going? I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to Rabat this week my wife has a gallbladder surgery here in Casablanca and I have to stay with here for the 10 days rest so I haven’t visited anywhere except Agadir when we just arrived, we’re leaving to the US this coming Monday

the name of the restaurant is CHEZ LHAAJA and that means:
Chez: pronounced like "she", is a french preposition that means (1. at the home of. 2. with, among, or in the manner of)
Lhaajja: Technically a woman who made a pilgrimage to the Kaaba in Mecca (L'haaj form men), But, you can call any "old" woman Lhaajja, out of respect, whether she made a pilgrimage or not .
